  1. I heard the take away shop and building had been bought to be used as the school office/admin to maximise school space on a limited site. This seemed totally feasible.

hello, who watched the supermoon turn to rust this morning? Did anyone take a good pic? we were sitting outside wrapped up warm, disappointed that we could not hear howling.
  3. Jeremy, there are many of us here who do not drive and a bus hop to a local Lidl would suit. The Lidl at Peckham is often understocked. I wish Aldi Lidl or Waitrose would take over the limp indifferent and stress inducing queueing Coop. If M&S are moving into the Iceland building, why are the offices above to rent?

Hello I realise that I am coming v late to this thread : this week I heard (a rumour) that Lidl are moving into the Grove Tavern . Is this true? anyone know?
  5. but nevertheless a Tim Hardin song (1965)
  6. what has happened here? this used to be sparkling clean and aesthetically pleasing with good stock albeit tres expensive but we shopped there for that reason, ie unique clothes and accessories. this week there were 3 tiny plastic ducks for a childs bath for ?1 each! on the shelf and tatty shoes and gritty dirty shelves. The quality and aesthetics have plummeted. Its all very well having high end designer clothes and shoes donated but frankly if they are over 7 years old then perhaps they should be on a vintage rail and not presented as current. And whyare there low end garments more expensive than sold in the original low end store. There are other charity shops in which to source low end clothes but not what we expect from MLAGS stores.
