I've complained to tfl about his manner and spoke to a lovely chap at the Department for Transport who's responsible for deciding what counts as dangerous goods. Paint under 5l, sealed and for your own use is totally fine. So there, moody little bus driver.

Ah! Just found this in Abellio's own conditions of carriage 'Paint may only be carried in original and properly sealed containers of 5 litres or less.'
