The issue I have is that they are hard to spot. Riding on pavements and also roads. They don?t follow the traffic light system or have any visibility or light They are dangerous for the rider but also pedestrians Was nearly hit by one today I?m partially sighted and its a nightmare avoiding them when they don?t have high vis on Trying to navigate the pavements with the leaves is bad enough

I know It?s probably not a huge thing too many. But leaves on the pavements in lordship lane and surrounding streets seems to be an issue. I?m visually impaired With shop lights off (I know this is not their fault) there is very dim lighting on the streets The leaves are normally swept up I just worry for myself slipping or someone else who also may struggle in the dark I?m not trying to be a pain or annoying But genuinely it is tricky walking on pavements Just raising it to see if something can be done I?ve emailed the council but no response Take care all

What I find sad is the amount of graffiti in east Dulwich All over local businesses My opinion is that we all have to stick to the rules If people want an ice cream and the business is risking it let them Just stay safe It?s so hard seeing our little village look so run down It?s sad to see everything closed Most people are being sensible and kind Some are not It?s all really hard for everyone I guess we should try and communicate in a peasant way as much as we can Bitching just isn?t what anybody needs right now -
As a disabled resident I find the pavements really tricky It appears that council money has gone into fancy road endings instead I?ve had 2 falls over the last year due to pavements and tree roots One was quite bad as grazed and bruised both knees It would be lovely if they could give the pavements a good seeing to whilst they are empty Although I don?t expect anybody to work on anything that?s dangerous in the current climate Let?s hope the council has a look at the paving on l l

I live by goose green My road is closed in the morning and afternoon due to the cleaner streets campaign I don?t drive But it?s annoying for residents who do And when I have visitors Also - the school has sat and Sunday lettings which means weekend parking is now an issue I?d also think that Sunday with amount of vehicles turning up that adds to pollution The talking trees are also an eyesore My road looks like a nuclear testing zone with all the yellow and black signs

I?m visually impaired and had a bad fall due to tree roots and the pavements The council have spent money in fancy brick endings at some roads near me which has no benefits to anybody I find pavements in lordship lane tricky I?m confused as to why they aren?t doing more They seem to have done pavements in other roads but not the major busy one

I have neighbours 2 houses away where there is a shed that is clearly accommodation for the boy who lives in the house. They have gatherings most weekends that involve shouting, swearing and loud music. Normally go on till 1 or 2. It?s the language that really upsets me as I have a 3 year old! It started at 5 tonight! What should I do? Don?t want to put up with this all summer Advice? Thought about pppping round to talk to the ?parents? But last year a brick was thrown through their window so not sure I want to make enemies

Anti social behaviour of neighbours
bagpuss replied to bagpuss's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Thank you all for advice.... Apologies regarding typos in my post..... It's been quiet the last few nights so here's hoping ...... I just can't stand living next to what sounds like the playground at school! 11 to 19 year olds I'm Croydon have the most ridiculous conversations and am bored of it. -
Alright furred I just had a bad week....I'm not a clown

I am getting bit fed up of constant noise and arguing from 2 doors down... It's a teenager well late teens who plays music loud..... Swears..... Argues with parents..... It's all but much when you have a 2 year old and want to enjoy garden. Also bring a teacher their cover stations or rather shoutastations are really annoying to hear.

veey loud drumming all dY today at the school.... Whilst I love music and kids enjoying it ... Was snide ring what it was for.

i am pretty certain that somebody swiped my lovely pram blanket and bunny whilst I was in co op! I was looking at sandwiches and had my back turned.... Am certain it didn't just fall out as would have fallen into wheels....also if dropped in lordship lane somebody would have said something. Thank god baby wasn't taken!

Pavements in poor condition and parking nightmare
bagpuss replied to bagpuss's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Ok..... After reading all it's see that residents parking will not work......will continue with my pavement complaints! -
The pavements in lordship lane and the road where I live are in a very bad state. I have complained to council but heard nothing. I am partially sighted and now have a precious bundle in pram to push around. Has anybody else contacted Southwark? Also......sorry for moans! But parking around goose green is a nightmare.......we would welcome parking permits as we can hardly ever park near our house!!! Are there any old threads about this or any ideas for introducing residents permits. Right moaning over!!! Looking forward to Xmas and the trees by edit!

I would definitely come! I would bring my Dad as he loves her!

She sounds like the woman who rang my doorbell at 6! am last year. I too foolishly gave her the money. She was persistant and a good actress by all accounts. I felt stupid and wasnt part of the forum then..... Fits the above description.

This morning I went out to the shop and found a burnt firwork on my front door mat! Somebody had obviously posted it through my letter box. It was quite big and burnt the front door and mat. Just wondering if anybody else has suffered the same? Very dangerous and stupid!
