This leak has been bubbling away for at least a week, and after TW had visited to dig up the road a few days ago, there was a very deep flood across the road. Yesterday morning (9.15am) I came off my bicycle on the sheet ice there - very low speed but now got a stonking great bruise. Luckily the traffic around was also also going slowly, so I picked myself up and walked around it. -

Can anyone advise on where to get car seats for two 9year-olds (not mine) for not a lot of money? I'm collecting them and their mum from Sunderland, after a funeral next weekend, and would appreciate some pointers. Thanks, Jane

Yes Christmas does suck! January is definitely my favourite time of year because it's furthest away from silly season. Only just read the post so missed the drink, but hope it happened and that you met some interesting folk...
