  1. I intend to open up a cupcake style bakery along LL sometime in the future, after i've won the next series of the great british bake off.
  2. Well I'm going along tomorrow to the lunch club and I'm dragging along a work mate too, so there will be at least 2 men there.
  3. when I lived in ED (I moved to Bromley for my sins :() I saw the lady who plays Shirley in Eastenders.
  4. Aren't rabbits used in the pet food industry? I'm sure I've given my cats rabbit meat from tines before now. Again I'd imagine it's a cheap source of meat, and the skins could be a sideline for the manufacturers.

Absolutely, rabbit was very popular in the wartime, where it was caught and eaten with no problem, due it's classification as vermin. I remember growing up and my dad and brother going rabbiting and bringing them back for dinner.
  6. This is sprung from the sale of a rabbit skin coat, which divided the board and the Admin were kept busy deleting inappropriate posts. Here's my view, I'm glad this has sold and someone is enjoying the beauty of it. Rabbit fur is one type of fur we shouldn't be sniffy about. It makes me wonder if people who worry about wearing rabbit skin, worry about wearing cow skin or sitting on cow skin? The argument that leather is a by product of the meat industry doesn't stand. In that rabbits are considered a source of food, at least I hope that's why a brace hung in the butchers back home. If we don't eat them, they are used for pet food too. So why should their skins go to waste?
  7. I hope you find her, i know what it's like to loose terriers. Sadly people think it's fun to dognap them for various things. Informing the police may help?
  8. 176 not running from camberwell to penge, trains not running until 10 am then a limited service...
  9. hate talk talk for this, had a similar experience and ended up having to go through a lot of hassle to not change over to talk talk. very frustrating.
  10. This time it's a different cat and unlike the black one which has owners and is being looked after just fine, this one is new to the area (Hayes Grove) and sits outside of the crescent of town houses mewing all night long to be let inside. now I know they have fur coats and all but common, this is unfair. Does anyone know who's cat it is? it's a spotted grey cat, very beautiful, once again if I was allowed pets I'd have taken it inside.
  11. it would make sense also that in a charity shop people have cash so more likely that pickpocketing will be successful. I was in the hospice when someones wallet was taken from their buggy.
  12. The lay out now is a bit better, but the atmosphere hasn't changed in my opinion. second hand abercrombie teeshirt was 6.99, and they charge about 45 brand new so some bargins still to be had.
  13. Ed is good for mens clothes if you like to pay through the nose for them.
  14. to be honest, the weight and clumping nature of the bikes wouldn't be very appealing to cycle up dog kennel hill from here.
  15. There are tonnes of crab apples in the park by Sainsbury's. I collected a horde last year but didn't have a suitable pan to make jelly with them, I'm looking to do that this year now I have the pan, so please leave some :P.
