Got to say something here - Ok you got the location wrong, yet come on people where is the only TESCO in ED, give the guy/girl a break. Feeling for ya!

There is plenty of money to be made! Its the LAND they bought and it wasn't actually 1 million, slightly under. A Bargain if you ask me. Yet they don't seem to have planning yet - which i guarantee they WILL get, the council will allow it as if the owner can build 3 homes if not more (which I expect 5) they will gain 5 points of council tax!!!! Although its a shame to see an old prefab from the war be demolished what else is supposed to happened to it. ?950,000 is cheap as chips in my eyes they should have sold it for more!!!!!!! Some people clearly have No clue on the value of the land they sit upon!

What with the building works on the other side of the road now - WTF! Where are pedestrians supposed to walk. Southwark Council must be cashing in on this - its an accident waiting to happen! whenever I walk past either of these sites most of the workman are sitting down doing sweet FA anyway, in their trucks illegally parked blaring out shite music - who ever is employing them is a fool - too!

LOL - What snobs - Lidl & Aldi are great value for money and this is the reason for the downfall in profits for all other "UPMARKET" stores! Who says Dulwich is an UPMARKET area??!!? Wake up?!?! I agree with you Rob - Its a terrible set up and extremely dangerous for the public and road users and the hoarding they have up is ridiculously dangerous in itself, just about holding itself up. What council pillock allowed this application to go through?!!

As I have been in the building trade and a home owner myself for over 15 years I understand exactly what your complaining about - The LAW is no trade can start noisy work before 8am and they have to finish by 6pm - this is Southwarks rules - http://www.southwark.gov.uk/info/412/noise_problems/379/construction_noise - Yet these are not just Southwarks rules these are the rules throughout the UK. I myself as a tradesman am always aware of the clients neighbours - as should all trades. Why when your working for a client would you want to upset their neighbours - I don't understand - they are obviously cowboys who don't care & you need to SHOUT out to you neighbours and explain otherwise I recommend you make as much noise as you wish in the early hours just to f**k you clearly oblivious neighbours off!!!!! LOL.

So sad to hear all these stories - GET A LONDON BAR though - they are the best forms of extensive door security. Also please don't be scared of hurting these little "sh*tes" I have a basball bat next to my front door and would be willing to use it no problem - to ensure my family - we as the public should not be afraid to defend our property. I agree this is such a dull conversation - and what my property is worth 2million, I have and Island worth 15mill in the Bahamas, I own a Lambo and my bank balance is so large when I print a receipt there is no space for the whole amount. Half the kids around here are always asking if I wanna buy some weed - So I don't know whats wrong with an adult having the odd beer whilst in the park as long as they put their rubbish in the bin its no different from picknickers not throwing their rubbish away. As for the legal side of it - if the council can't enforce a law (which they can't expect the Police to do 24/7) for no drinking in Southwark they shouldn't bother having that law - its meaningless. If i were in a playground and was witness to a drunk when kids were about I myself would tell them politely to "piss off" thats called making a good judgement call whilst having a nice beer in hand and keeping an eye on my kids playing a bit of footie! We do not need the council & Police to worry about such menial things - they have better, more important things to deal with - I could list them but you'd probably get bored - if your already not from reading this! Traffic terrible again this morning - I have heard that there has been a major water mains bursting in Kennington so this may have something to do with it! Steer well clear - no pun intended - teehee!

I ride to work from ED to Walworth Road Elephant & Castle End - G I have never seen so many busses lined up - Its crazy! All from the Road Works at Elephant and Castle round about!!!! If I were you I would find another route for the foreseeable future - This can't carry on tho, you'd like to think Transport for London would pull their finger out and sort things out. Ok in the long run it may be better at the Elephant but its no joke for all those living and commuting from SE London, its not like we have a decent train service what with the LDN Bridge fiasco and no tube service even touching these parts! COME ON TFL SORT IT OUT and tell your bus drivers to be cautious when letting people of the bus when its not a bus stop as serious accidents WILL happen when a cyclist/motorcycalist is riding the road and a pedestrian just steps off the bus where they shouldn't - not that I have anything against people getting off the bus as I would want to also - Just make sure to keep your eyes peeled! Thanks peeps!

Why would you even want to spend your money on crap coffee in one of these over priced mass produced coffee shops anyway - find a nice independent coffee shop that would value your custom much better anyway. Im not disagreing with you or agreing - just stating that the coffee in these MASS branded places is crap and chucked at you at a pace that is disturbing - I suggest you find a nice little coffee house that will take you in and serve you much better coffee.

Ok if you'll pay the bill get it towed outside my house! Wouldn't bother me as I live off the road and have a 6ft wall meaning I wouldn't have to see it until i leave the house - not that it would really bother me as its a bloody car on the road, where cars should be - its not that big a deal, there are more important things in life to worry about!
