I saw the massive amount of flytipping that has happened within the past week when I was going down to do park run in Dulwich this morning from Lordship Lane. I have reported it to the council but wondered if anyone else had already done it or how the dumpers were able to dump such a huge amount of stuff in so many loads without being rumbled. Really sad to see that this morning.

Whereabouts on Overhill Road was this Gaynor? From what you say about railings I am thinking Dawson's Heights?

He reported the crime online. The form said the police will get in touch only if they need more info or if they plan to investigate the crime scene.

At around 4am today my boyfriend had just got off the N63 at the Dunstan's Rd bus stop and was walking on Overhill Road towards our flat. He thinks he startled a youth on a moped trying to break into a car. The youth aggressively drove up to him shouting abuse. He then pulled what my boyfriend thinks was a hammer from the moped and started chasing him, driving on the pavement, along Overhill Road. He was forced to run and had to hide in someone's garden until the guy had accepted he couldn't find him and drove off. He then carried on to our flat and got in OK. Not trying to scare people with this story but just sharing information that might help others avoid being in a similar situation.

Not on the corner as such. I think the building must front onto Belvoir Road but I've only seen it from behind (Overhill Rd). Thanks Mrs Y, I will call the highways dept as it was still there when I walked home tonight.

A fairly large section of fencing has fallen in the wind and is blocking the pavement on Overhill Rd, close to the junction with Belvoir Road. Can you let me know who this should be reported to? The building behind is derelict. Thanks.

When I used the gym just before Christmas it was not a 5 second run time for the showers, it was as I said before about 2 seconds. I do know the difference so I think the centre and not being truthful here.

I've now used the female gym showers and the family changing room showers and they all go off after literally 2 seconds. It seems they have all been fixed to go off that quickly. I'm all for not wasting water but this is ridiculous.

I am a member but I agree the changing rooms are a state. In the female gym changing rooms I had to shower in the dark and with a shower that stayed on less than a second before going off (I'm not joking!) I only realised it was faulty after I had undressed so I just had to get on with it. I've also had a shower door fall of its hinges onto me, injuring my arm, and there is the seemingly ongoing issue of thefts from lockers (given the signs the management have put up). Shame a council facility is being run down so badly.

I had the same experience in January Jacqui. Dragged everything down 2 flights of stairs, stored in agreed place on day we had booked and paid for. Came back from work...stuff still there. Letting agent fuming and threatening to charge us for leaving items in property after rental contract had expired. They eventually came and got the remnants of our stuff but that was about 5 days later after it had been picked over. Seeing someone trying to cram our sofa into their Nissan Micra was amusing though. On a serious note, it's a shoddy service. You may as well not pay money for it. You pay up, but you don't get the service you paid for.
