I think that's massively considerate of him - I wish everyone would do this!

I' m so fed up with people leaving loo paper in the park. Small children run all over the place, and we constantly see other people's disgusting loo paper, hundreds of pieces every time. Surely if someone needs to poo in the park, they ball it up, or bag it up, and take the loo paper home? If they find that disgusting, then why should anyone else find it less disgusting just dropped casually inside a children's den? Feeling so annoyed that people think this is ok to do just because the loos are closed. I get that people have to go in the park. But surely they do not have to leave loo paper for us to prise out of our toddler's curious hands.

Also watched a mallard (male) attempt to drown a cootling. The coot parents were hooting in a panic as the mallard dragged the cootling underwater and kept it there. It was horrible to see. Clearly a copy/mallard war going on.

4 goslings on my last visit and a whole new clutch of tiny coots (cootlings?). Also - saw a turtle for the first time in the other pond near the bamboo house/wooden shelter thing. First time ever.

I took some things to Action for Refugees (AFRIL) in Lewisham, who collect things for refugee http://www.afril.org.uk/en/s. They seemed really pleased. Ok, I cannot speak highly enough about Andy and Richard. Here is why they are great: they are reliable and arrive when they say they will they get the job done to a good standard they clean up after the job they are really friendly and nice to have in the house they fit you in even when they are really busy. For us they've made a roman blind baton, built some shelves. Also they are happy to give helpful advice even helping me to do something I'd otherwise have paid them for. They are really great.

Hi Natalie I've tried emailing the coordinator email address a couple of times but I haven't heard anything - is the address ok? We're moving to East Dulwich and due to have our first baby in September and we would really love to do NCT in East Dulwich to meet people. But there don't seem to be any weekday evening classes - is that right? Unfortunately we can't make the Christchurch classes which are whole days ones, with one whole weekday, because of work. I'd love your advice on this. Thank you very much
