They were in a car as we heard the engine running and the door slam on the video. I think just opportunistic given the time from delivery to theft, but who knows- it sort of reminds me of the guys that just do the rounds checking skips for scrap, if you drive around long enough you might get lucky. Anyway glitter bomb ordered as a "thank you" should they come back.... -

Just to further update, he also took a parcel from our neighbours before leaning over the wall to take ours. The dummy box he used to approach and pretended to deliver was empty and addressed to 135 Upland Road- PM me if that's you and need any info. -

Hi All, I'm hoping this is just a neighbourly gesture, but as none of our neighbours were home today or recognise the chap captured on our ring camera we're assuming the worst. Keep an eye out folks, this was on Goodrich Road around 14:57. Walked to our door with a large cardboard box, clocked the parcel on our doorstep, went next door and leaned over the fence- took the parcel and walked up the road towards the Dawson's Height's end. If anyone knows a white guy wearing a green polo shirt, green shorts and black sliders today, please let me know as we've been in touch with the police due to the contents of the parcel.

We had the same guy knocking on saturday night, Goodrich road- claimed he was ex forces, tried to show my wife his "army card". Didnt become aggressive, but you could tell it wasn't genuine. I've got a similar image of him (same jacket) from the ringdoorbell.

Royal Mail stole my package
Captain Kernow replied to prisilla's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Just spoken to Royal Mail as a follow up based on other folks experience, they've asked for a link/pictures to this page. They're obviously only going on what their systems says, but at this point it's a computer says "no" - we can't do anymore so contact the police. If those affected want to DM me, I'm happy to get the ball rolling, although it feels like a gross waste of Police time, just a shame RM can't do more to help- doesn't look good for Christmas! -

I had exactly the same thing as OP & Frenchpolisher - almost word for word- I'm assuming we all pre-ordered Modern Warfare (the game). Same pattern of delivery, phone calls to RM, excuses etc. I'm waiting on a formal letter of explanation at which point I'm told I can escalate. To be honest I suspected at it's a high value product it had been stolen and the silly excuse of "it had been raining so the PDQ weren't working" only compounded my suspicion. I've had this with amazon on countless occasions but was very surprised that it had happened through RM, when I flagged this they said that if that was the case there would be a pattern of theft and that's not the case. I may DM those of you who had the same thing happen if that's ok, as I think a point should be made to RM that clearly parcel theft (and by the looks of it targeted to an item) is happening. -
New Bentley gathering dust on Zenoria St
Captain Kernow replied to WELSH-NINJA's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
we seem to have this constantly on Whateley Road, a few cars have sat in various spots outside our house for lengths of up to 3 months at a time (i did all the tax checks without paying money to get owner details). Two of them had been towed by private lorries- not sure if a local garage is using the street as an extended showroom. The road also seems to be the spot cars come to run out of tax and get clamped. -
Roadworks top of Lordship Lane

Bringing the thread back to it's original topic/ purpose, the extended yellow lines in my immediate area have taken around x4 car spaces from each road and the bike 'bunkers' an additional x1 space. With parking becoming a bit of an issue for various reasons I personally dont find a benefit to the extended lines (where we are the old spacing at junctions was sufficient to avoid safety problems in my opinion). Hope that helps give you one persons perspective. -

Edit- I have to say, I also find it a tad irresponsible of the dailymail to add people's usernames to an inflammatory publication like this. -

(FYI this is with both the MET and Anti Terror). Best, -

Feel free to DM me any specific threats from people relating to, or sympathizing with these posters as I can add it all to the police report. -

Just back from Cornwall (visiting my working class farming roots, thankfully they go back past the Holocaust so always nice to see that side of the family ), to be honest I've skimmed through this thread since it descended into the usual BS, so wont pass comment any further. If any more posters have been seen, please keep posting on here so I can keep the police informed. -
