  1. Hi Barry Can you tell us why the 0845 from East Dulwich to London Bridge has been delayed for over 10 minutes for the past 2 days...and when the train does turn up....there are only 4 carriages! Surely if theres a backlog of people waiting for a delayed train, it makes sense to put on a Train with a full set of carriages!
  2. I walked past the shop on Friday and there are workmen in there and lots of decorating and building stuff. But it still doesnt look like its ready to be opened for business?....

You would never cramp my style..you would bring passion and energy to the party. But I would draw the line at you wearing your Man U scarf...and Im sure Ladygooner would agree with me on that!! x
  11. so what do you reckon Ladymuck?
  12. From going to the EDF drinks over the past 2 years, I have made lots of great friends. I thought it would be jolly good to continue the tradition of this gathering , especially with the merry festive season of Xmas coming up. Xmas is time to meet up, drinks loads and be very very merry!:)-D I spoke to Georgia and offered to be the organizer of these drinks and she gave me a firm (tu)! I would also like a co-host and thought of my very good friend and neighbour , Ladymuck! So the date is set for this on Friday 10th December 2010 from 8pm onwards at The Lodge on Lordship Lane. The Lodge is above the EDT.
  13. Yes was a cracking night out last night. I hadnt been to a EDF drinks for a while and glad I popped along last night. Great to see the regulars down there last night including Michael, Sean , Sue, Raj , Georgia, FloatingOnion. Also nice to see Dave, Kels, Geo. Daizie I now know who you are....and wont mix you up with Sue again! Narnia and Katie1997 lovely to meet you for the first time. Narnia, ManU supporter...mmm i wonder if he heard my comment about Ladymucks ManU scarf!! Ladymuck it was my pleasure to walk you home. Im glad that you didnt want to sprint all the way home...like you did from the Phoenix. Narnia and I watched your gallant dash up the hill....and you made it in record time to EDT..like 10 mins after we arrived by bus?? Help-Ma-Boab,nice to meet you as well. We were all very curious as to what in your case? Yes I can confirm ...definately Im definately not from Glasgow....and not a lassie as some other forumites thought!! LOL I have suffered today with the mother of all hangovers...and drove the family to Essex for a birthday party today.... but ooh the pain was worth the pleasure of a cracking night out! Me thinks that such a good turnout...is worthy of another EDF drinks....before Xmas....all those who say 'aye' raise your hand?
  14. daizie Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > blimey you have a good memory . this time i wont > be confused and call you wedgie . OK I'll make sure Im not wearing my Tanga briefs so as to cause confusion..
  15. daizie Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > i may be there with exotic guests lol It will be nice to see you Daizie ....and this time I wont be confused and think that you are Sue ;-)
  16. We did at our work place but only when one of the guys told us. The building forgot to announce it over the PA System....so one of the directors..was waffling on for the first minute!

I used to work (in their IT Dept ..not Door to Door!) for the company called Cobra Group. They sell TalkTalk door to door through their Field Representatives. They also sell NPower, Telcoms. They go door to door, trying to collect as many people signatures on customer application forms. They should have proper identification badges on them...with their name, their branch office and their reference number. If they dont then they are conning you. They are Smartly dressed carrying clipboards loaded with application forms on them. TalkTalk is rubbish...dont even touch them with a barge pole. Their broadband service is woeful....manned by customer support team of 17 year old school leavers with no interpersonal skills and technical knowledge.

  19. I am sorry to hear about loss. And no its not a taboo subject. Like AnnaJ said its quite common. My mother miscarried and my girlfriends mum also miscarried. If you want to chat about it then do so to your family and close, good friends that you know. They wont expect you to keep quiet unless you want to.
  20. I think its a quite popular activity on a Sunday afternoon on the lake in Dulwich Park...
  21. I should be there from around 8ish...once me and Franster put the little-uns to bed. Im looking forward to seeing you guys!
  22. The Phoenix is a lovely pub.. We have had many fun Sunday afternoons there. Is this the last ever EDF drinks then? I will try and make it down for next Friday, whether its the last gathering or not.
