We look forward to welcoming you to your first ever EDF drinks! :))

We had a table reserved at the front...and it wasnt too noisy. We were able to talk and chat...without shouting! They have music and dancing and it tends to be more towards the back... Hope that helps Sean :))
  6. Thanks Admin...for making this a sticky thread (tu):))

  8. This is a very sad thing to happen. Its most probably a gang related incident and its just as probable of happening in East Dulwich...like its happened in Denmark Hill, Camberwell, Peckham and other surrounding areas.

We hardly knew anyone in the area when we moved here. But I went to my first ever EDF drinks, a few weeks after moving here. And after that I met loads of friends and neighbours inc Ladymuck ;-)) in the local area. Lots of familiar faces that you start recognising when out and about! Hope to see you there!
  10. This will be an interesting residents forum..I might pop along on Saturday!

I'll aim for 1st Friday of each month...but unfortunately due to previoulsy made arrangements (inc our anniversary and weekends away),,,I had to do it the following weekend.
  12. Exactly 3 weeks to go to the EDF Drinks at Liquorish bar! Liquorish has a briliant selection of cocktails from the classics such as Green Sapphire and Caprinha through to lovely Champagne based Cocktails including Bellini and Mr Valentines. Dont worry folks for your beer/ale lovers there is also a nice selection of beers, ales and lagers!! :)-D
  13. Yes members of the gym at DHFC...are told to park in this car park...and not in the parking spaces outside the gym(they are for DHFC/Sainsburys employees only) pearl1 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > ....DHFC were definitely using the car park today. > There was an event on and the car park was > full... > > Also. 16. Yes folks EDF Drinks is back in 2011!!! With some of you having had the month of January to rest after a busy and hectic Xmas and New Year festivities, you'll be bursting to join in plenty of :)-D and catching up! I've picked the venue for Feb's drinks as liquorish. Located on 123 Lordship Lane, East Dulwich, London SE22 8HU. I've reserved a table for us at the front of the bar from 7.30pm onwards. If you havent been to an EDF drinks before, have just moved to East Dulwich or just joined the forum... then please come down. I hope to see you there! :)
  17. Im a resident of Abbotswood Road and fully support LadyGooner, LadyMuck and the other residents who oppose this application. With the parking in this car park there are problems with people coming to play in the Astroturf 5 a side and matches. In fact some evenings Ive seen Southwark council parking cars...driving round our estate looking for badly parked cars. The building of the flats on the car park will make this problem worse. Even though this area is not designated as Metropolitan open space ...surely there are issues with building a 5 storey building ...and the effect on the views of the surrounding landscape! This move doesnt surprise me...because the same individuals concerned from the DH were trying to sell off the existing Dulwich Hamlet football ground to property developers last year!
  18. Hey guys After much editing...the photos from the drinks are now up EDF Xmas Drinks 2010 Photos Enjoy!
  19. I had a wicked time last night. Thanks to everyone for making it down last night for the EDF Xmas drinks and making it a real blast. Hello to those who made it down inc DaveD, Kels, Daizie, Raj, Georgia, Geo ,Help-Ma-Boab, Jaws, etc. legalbeagle was very nice to meet you last night. As was Help-Ma-Boab. And of course big thanks to Ladymuck for being a great co-host and helping me organize it. Yes the new drink we The longest tongue competition was great fun as was the moves being busted to the lovely 1920s music in the Lodge. And the dancing continued in the EDT...to much amusement from the locals. Was nice to visit 'Stab and Wine' for the very first time with LM. Yes that new drink we pioneered last night called the Pambucca (Peroni mixed witb Zambucca) Nice!! My pictures from last nights shenanigans will be going up very soon. Right Im off to continue my recovery from a stinking hangover!

Often my misssus has a struggle geting to the Lordship Lane to post an item, with 2 little kids in tow! I take her letters and glide into London Bridge...Brilliant machines...easy to use..clear bright colourful instructions. You can post any small item or parcel. But unlike the Sainsburys 'temperamental' Self Service machines....the Post Office self posting machines are very reliable!!! I wish there was an Post Office equivalent of Station Manager Barry Jones.....,who would read this and prod someone to invest in technology!
