I think this mans behaviour was totally unjustifiable and unacceptable. We cant allow people to behave like this whatever the reason in what is supposed to be a civilized society. I agree with Mamora Man....you have to complain about matters like this...otherwise HSBC will just carry on with the same level of shoddy customer service. If you dont get any joy from Head Office..then consider contacting the website MoneySavingExpert.Com. This website run by Martyn Lewis (the man the banks love to hate).

Im really sorry to read about your experience. Yes do make a formal complaint to HSBC head office. They will have video evidence. And if they are not helpful..there are other avenues you can pursue...ie The Banking Ombudsman. Good on you for closing your account..HSBC dont deserve your custom. And I hope the staff of that branch get to read the thread on this forum...and realize how word of appalling customer service can spread round this community.

Awful news, 3 year old girl died after car accident.
Weegee replied to Vik's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Thats terrible news...my condolence and prayers to the girls family :( -
Im severely hung over from last night but still hoping to make it tonight....and the other half, Franster will be with me as well!

what time does the drinks kick off then?

I think the 2 out of them acted way out of line...and were very offensive. But sacking would be going to far. After all I think Jonathan Ross is a entertainer who offers a lot to the public.

Ive got a question about the footballers that play for Dulwich Hamlet FC. Are they full time professional or part time and have normal jobs? Just wondering as they are in a league outside of the normal football league...

Question about Tenancy Agreements and removal of Sateliite Dishes
Weegee replied to Weegee's topic in The Lounge
Hey martell1 Tbanks for that. Yep we got a rate from a contractor of ?95 which is reasonable We feared that they would quote hundreds to do this job. so not too bad...and means we can get most of deposit back. Thanks for all your input on this guys! Question about Tenancy Agreements and removal of Sateliite Dishes
Weegee replied to Weegee's topic in The Lounge
Yep the landlord gave us permission to put the dish up. We wanted to know if there are specific clauses about dishes. At our present house...the old tenants had installed a dish but the landlord didnt ask them to remove it when they moved out. We tried to ask Sky to remove the dish but they are not interested... -
Hi there I have a question regarding standard tenancy agreements and Satellite dishes. The estate agents for our old flat, are currently holding our deposit back?until we remove the satellite dish from the flat. The dish was installed on a communal roof of the block of flats..but the landlord has requested its removed. The agent said that we have to remove ..?as part of terms of our agreement? I've read through our agreement and there is no reference to ?satellite dishes? Have any of you had to remove a satellite dish when you have moved out of your rented house or flat?
