  4. I have my son working for TFL on the Underground and my ex daughter-in-law working as a bus driver. I would happily pay to keep them safe.

  6. The Post Office at Camberwell Green had a 'closed until further notice' up today
  7. If you have a car, click and collect would be a good option. Or phone Sainsbury's elderly /vulnerable helpline on 0800 052 5500 and explain your situation. I got a delivery slot in about 5 days from phoning them
  8. My grandson's mother is a bus driver and his dad (my son) works on the Underground. Any measures that keep them safer, whatever the cost, is ok with me

  10. Went to Sainsburys this morning for the OAP session. Queued for approx. 30mins around the car park. All very orderly and well organised by staff. Got everything we needed, although noticed that there was no flour, eggs or pasta products and tinned food a bit sparse. Plenty of fresh veg and fruit, cooked meat products, dairy, milk, bread. Staff very good natured and appreciated being thanked when we left.
  11. Hi Not sure of the name of the nursery, but its in Wilmington in Kent, so probably not much use to you if you're local and wanting a nursery place at the moment
  12. My son is a key worker, so his daughter is still going to nursery. However, the nursery have said that if he doesn't have to send her on certain days, they will give a refund for those days.
  13. Hubby was in DKH Sainsburys about 9.30am this morning. Every till was manned, but queues were still down to the rear of the shop. Shelves pretty empty, not much fresh veg, although he reported they had loads of cucumbers!

  16. Sounds like the same woman and child who knocked at ours in Ivanhoe Road a couple of days ago. Didn't recognise her as a neighbour, so told her we didn't give at the door.

  18. Ours (SE5) has been on and off since last week. Came back again this morning, then down again this afternoon for a while. Has just come back. We were told our TV was 'too far away from the router to pick up the wifi signal', even though it has been in the same place and in the same room as the router for years!

  20. Myself and my husband have lowered our cholesterol by drinking Lidl's cholesterol lowering yoghurt drinks. They are a fraction of the cost of Benecol and the like and just as effective for us
  21. My grandson has been working in Wetherspoons since he was 17 (he's just turned 18 now) He enjoys it and he can work hours that fit around college / American football training.

  23. Ald Life is great. They usually collect within a couple of days and don't charge high prices in their shops. They also have a new shop at Camberwell Gate.
  24. Dulwich Village Pre-school in Dulwich Common. My granddaughter went there - its lovely
  25. All Southwark residents are eligible for free access all day Friday and part of Saturday and Sunday, regardless of age and personal circumstances
