Hi I was just thinking about music lessons for children. I always wanted to play an instrument and never got the chance, so I am keen to get my 5 year old started early, but I don't want to start too early and have him dread it! So, lots of questions: At what age did your children start having music lessons? Is 5 too early? When is the best time? What do you recommend as a first instrument? Do you recommend any particular teachers or do your children learn through school? Any opinions gratefully received. Thanks L

My son's going to Goose Green as well. I am not sure what my working arrangement will be by that point as my contract is also expiring around then, but if it continues, I am hoping to take unpaid leave for that week.

Hi Sorry, I still don't actually understand what is being proposed re the One O'clock club/Ivydale stay and play. Will there still be a children's play room in the park but at a different location? And if so, am I right in my understanding that the play room will be located in the adventure play ground? Thanks Lindsay
