  1. I was a bit shocked to walk in to the NEW Peckham Rye Cafe. This is our local and we've been regulars for years. I had no warning that things were changing. While I did often wish for some updating of the menu, I am deeply distressed that there seems to be nothing vegan on the new menu and the new soya milk they are using makes my latte taste disgusting. I'm a little devastated. It' been a hard week of loss (USA election, Leonard Cohen, Leon Russell) and the cafe is just a nail in the coffin. Anyone else super happy or sad about the change?
  2. I can highly recommend Aston who put up some shelves, fixed two toilet seat fittings, fitted a new shower door and sorted out my living room blind that has been stuck for over 6 months - all very fast and efficiently. Echoing others on professional, punctuality and pleasant to deal with. His number is 07490947355. I'll be keeping it in contacts for further work!
  3. me! me! I'm a vegetarian :)
  4. love these. please bring awesomeness to Peckham Rye :) really keen to preserve the skate park though - or make it better.....
  5. This is a tricky one, while I completely understand that bikes on pavements is annoying, my 4 and 6 year olds are not safe on the roads when most cars are exceeding 20ph. We do use the road when less busy and the path on those busier roads, but always always give peds priority. The boys know to stop and wait, slow down, use their bell and/or say excuse me. They won't get ready for the road unless they have this experience or is there another way I haven't thought of?
  6. any idea what is happening to the skatepark?
