Plumbing and heating recommendation Posted by lemonellen Yesterday, 09:50PM A quick note to say what a fab service I've had from Billy Hunter at Hunter Heating Solutions. I noticed a mystery leak in the airing cupboard before xmas which was gradually getting worse. I found someone on here who came out to take a look then cancelled due to sickness for the next appointment, then failed to turn up (or return my calls) for the rescheduled time. By now it was the week before xmas and the problem was getting much worse. I contacted Billy from the recommendations on here and he responded immediately and had visited and diagnosed the problem within 48hrs. He wouldn't accept a call out fee (it was a handyman repair required rather than a plumbing solution) but has since been to install a new radiator and a smart thermostat. Everything was done quickly, efficiently and without any mess. Billy and his team are quick, efficient, extremely knowledgable. I won't hesitate to use him again or recommend him.

Recommendation - New boiler installation and removal of back boiler - Billy Hunter Posted by BigED December 12, 12:24PM Boiler/heating engineer recommendation We recently had a new boiler installed by Billy Hunter of Hunter Heating Solutions (who we found via recommendations on the EDF). It was a big piece of work - they had to remove the old back-boiler and gas fire in the living room and install a new combi-boiler in another room in a way that accommodates building work happening next year. They took out the old immersion heater and water tank in the roof too, ran new pipes hither and thither, cleaned up after themselves... And following some remedial work by Transco (the pressure from the gas mains was too low - nothing to do with Billy's work), we now have a fully working boiler and a house that's warm. Billy responded quickly to emails and came round to talk us through options a second time when we decided we wanted to change the location for the incoming boiler. He may not be the cheapest on the market, but we got three contractors to visit, one never gave us a quote at all and another gave a higher quote, so Billy's quote was the lowest in our case and we are very happy with the work he and his colleagues have done. They installed an entirely new central heating system for us back in November as part of house renovations. Their workmanship and work ethic is unbeatable and the best I have come across. They completed the works quickly and efficiently, on time and remained tidy and respectful of our property as we were living in it. They are easy to communicate with and provide many options and information to make decisions. They are up to speed with the latest smart technologies for the home and were a pleasure to do business with. They even go over an above in the winter if you have problems and respond quickly going over an above which is not something you see often these days.

The Builders were Tommy & Joe Selfe(07971519215), they were really good to deal with when it came to revising their scope of service to accommodate our budget, and resolving the few variations which inevitably arise with building projects. Generally the project was complete on program excepting some minor delays ? as is almost always the case with construction ? though this was due to the subcontracts rather the Tommy & Joe. The workmanship of the finishes is very good and the boy?s understanding eye for detail of the architectural design intent was very much appreciated. Along with the building work, the plumbing and replacement boiler was done by Hunter Plumbing Solutions (07986296453) and as ever, the service was quality. We have had work done by Billy in the past and he is always very obliging in explaining why things need to be installed in particular a way, and also what associated risks are likely be encountered once demolition of the existing fixtures is complete. Billy usually requires a bit of an advanced booking but it is well worth the wait as the work is always done on time and to a high standard.

Posted by artined Today, 08:32PM Hi, Billy Hunter of Hunter Heating Solutions did a great job for me, installing a new boiler in my rental flat last year. Today, when the tenant was without hot water he stopped by and reset the boiler and showed them how in case it happens again. I really appreciated his quick response and support and so did my tenant! I recommend him highly!!

They recently installed a new combi boiler, removing an old system boiler and storage tanks. They are extremely experienced and skilled at their work. The new boiler is functioning perfectly, with all the new pipe work fitted with attention both to safety and aesthetic detail. The new heating controls are also super easy to use. Billy and Scott worked fast, efficiently and amazingly tidily. They always communicated about what they were doing and were also super helpful about a number of minor things cropping up along the way. I recommend them highly and I will be getting them back for regular services!

From the initial contact it was clear that Billy has extreme attention to detail and takes pride in his work ? exactly the profile you want to install the pipe infrastructure in your house. We received excellent advice in the design phase and he was always responsive on our enquiries taking the time to explain technical aspects. The installation was completed on time, to a very high standard and at the quoted price. As an extra bonus they are also hard working and really lovely chaps to have around. They took us through every step of the process from boiler selection to radiator styles and accessories, and got great deals on everything. The installation went flawlessly, on schedule and a very clean, neat high quality job.
