  1. Thanks Pugwash. I'm planning to call the council on Monday to see if they can offer some guidance. Will report back. I don't think my 2 year old is too much of a peeping tom so hopefully it will be ok!
  2. Hi is anyone able to offer advice on whether we're going to run into trouble by installing a climbing frame in the garden? We have a large garden, but are quite overlooked. We're in Lambeth. My questions are: - Should we apply for planning permission to install a climbing frame (due to there being a raised platform/potential loss of privacy complaints)? - Does anyone know about enforcement of this aspect of these planning permission rules in Lambeth? Is there a kind of knowledge about what is infomally deemed to be ok and what might be challenged? Many thanks! Jenny
  3. Hello, can anyone recommend a climbing frame/swings set/wendy house combo for the garden? I don't mind spending a bit but want it to last for a few years. My daughter is currently 2 years old. Thanks for any suggestions! Jenny
  4. Another vote for Nicola. She really helped us.
  5. My daughter, now 2, has taken part in a couple of studies at Goldsmiths and we've both really enjoyed the sessions. For her it is a really fun and well designed play session and for me it is a chance to learn a bit about child development. I'd really recommend supporting the research team with your baby scientists :)
  6. Herne Hill Health Hub is where we got our's done. They were very good.
  7. We've suggested meeting on Sunday 10th May in Herne Hill. Please feel free to pm me if you would like to join (not needed if we're in email contact now). midivydale, are you free then?
  8. So there are lots of Swedish mothers of boys in the ED area :) Welcome Yellow Sardine, this is going to be really nice I think.
  9. Hello Astrid and Marlene, this is shaping up very nicely! I will pm you soon to set up an email list to find a date/time.
  10. Flott, da er vi iallefall to! Jeg venter noen dager saa sender jeg en pm for aa finne en dato som passer. Please also feel free to come along if you want your child to play in Scandinavian language but you speak English, for example if it your spouse's language. I go to Greek playgroup for that reason.
  11. Hello, are there any families interested in attending a Norwegian, Swedish, Danish or Icelandic speaking playgroup? I'm a Norwegian mother of a 15 month old and would like my daughter to hear more scandi language. We're happy to host at our house in Herne Hill, for example on Saturday or Sunday mornings once per month. Det blir koselig :) Jenny
