  1. Too many people want very large cars even people who could walk or cycle there is not enough space it’s not 40 years ago. I’m all for more restrictions

    Car hire

Hi need to rent a family car next week anybody had any suggestions Many thanks
  3. Not a new poster just sick of too many people driving their kids to school from Greenwich,or driving to the park to walk their dog because it?s raining
  4. Great idea boohoo. Frien road looks like a nice road to drive too fast on let?s reopen that and Oglander another great rat run it?s just not fair to keep these roads shut just for all the rich posh people who live there
  5. Why is taking the cleverest kids from local state schools a good idea or the sports kids .it seems like it?s just to maintain there charity status and keep their results up
  6. Kk I think you will find houses on Elsie made that price last year nothing to do with road closures just perhaps because it?s a very nice road. Also a bit silly to assume that all the people who live there agree with the closures they don?t

  8. As someone who has lived here a while and can remember Sainsburys been built,I just can?t believe anything the club/meadows says about the future of the green dale area. In a few years the goalposts will just be moved again,I love the club and hope it stays but not at any cost
  9. You seem quite bright why not have a think
  10. Found a well worn green Lloyd's Visa card Adys road just now
  11. Hi. Just building extension in peckham ,had a soil test done at www.k4soils.com and this reduced the footings by 40cm Good luck
  12. You should choose your friends more carefully
  13. Loads of kids in Derwent,Elsie,Melbourne ,East Dulwich Grove and Grove Vale all go to Charter ED,as Charter North is now full of kids from dulwich village.Just because it's called Charter East Dulwich does not mean you have to live in East Dulwich to get. Both schools are oversubscribed,so if the noddle point had been moved over Peckham Rye way loads of kids from Dog Kennel hill would not have got in.
  14. I could be wrong but I imagine the op wants to keep safely in the catchment for the new school. I've always fancied Elsie myself
  15. Just had Aaron do some work. He turned up when he said he would, did a great job and was reasonably priced.thanks
  16. Having lived in a small road very near east dulwich station for nearly 20 years. I really don't think many of the cars do belong to commuters , first come the teachers then the people who run the shops on grove vale then all the guys from the timber yard the odd estate agent from lordship lane add all the people living in flats along east dulwich grove and the people who live here on the road and yes it's full. When mr Barber tried to push cpz last time,i was told that they would paint white line boxes down the whole street even if you have off street parking i said that would lead people to think they could park anywhere in that box with a permit even in front of driveways . The answer to that was to double yellow all the driveways which I think will lead to even less space.Every area/street has different pressures, but I do want the shops on grove vale to survive and I think a cpz will hurt them without making much of a difference
  17. Have 3 teenagers phones not a problem.
  18. I'm at home every day all day and live in one of the roads very near the station,as I've said before every road is different and I want the shops at the end of my road to survive.Im really pleased that you can park outside your house but I think you banging on how simple it all is is misleading
  19. Things are really black and white for you and so simple. My street is not the same as yours
  20. If you don't want them to have a phone don't give them one if you do do
  21. Eynella road,Dulwich park. Deep in the grime really
  22. This area was a very "white"area back then. The black family who had my house before me,had to get a white friend to help buy as the estate agent would not deal with them,1975 ish
