Bought this fab Frog bike for our son in the hope it would encourage him to cycle, but sadly it's just not his thing. The bike is now too small for him so selling it to someone who will give it the action and use it deserves! It has literally been ridden about 4 times so is in excellent condition and practically good as new! It is a limited edition 2023 Tour de France bike in yellow and was bought for £500, so it's a chance to grab a great bike for a good price for a keen young cyclist. I'm also including the bike lock which was £20! And Frog bikes really hold their value so you’ll be able to sell it on. £300 (cash or bank transfer) and collection from SE15 PM me if you're interested please Additional info: The Frog 62 Hybrid is a perfectly formed 24" wheeled bike for growing 8-10 year olds with an average inside leg of around 62cm. This is the Tour De France Yellow colour version with 8 speeds. The handlebars can be lowered or raised within a range of 54mm and adjusting the seat height is easy to do at home with the quick release system. This is a 24" wheel model, featuring hybrid tyres for on and off road use. The 8 speeds offer easy to select gears adding yet more versatility to this bike.

Looking for a window cleaner who doesn't overcharge. I've had a great window cleaner who charged a reasonable £40 to do all the outside windows, but sadly he's now retired. The quotes I've had recently have been around the £70+ mark which seems pretty steep for 30-40 minutes! I checked Checkatrade who say the average cost should be £35-£45 for up to an hour of window cleaning, so if anyone can recommend one, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

A gorgeous original painting by Wiltshire-based artist, Claire Stewart. A fun, vibrant and colourful piece of art entitled ‘Party Like Pineapples’, showing a pair of pineapples in a basket alongside other fruit and a butterfly with a bright pink background. Set in a turquoise mount within a simple white frame. Ready to hang add a striking pop of fun to any room. It was bought from the artist for £295 and is in excellent condition but no longer fits our decor. Happy to accept £100 cash on collection from SE15. Signed and dated by the artist 54x43cm framed

Tom is a picture-hanging maestro! He did a great job hanging various pictures including helping me work out a suitable configuration for a stair wall. He was friendly, reliable, punctual and tidy. Highly recommend. My home now looks like an art gallery! Thanks Tom 🙂

Leon has just completed a job for me which he did perfectly. He was good at communicating and securing an available date. I found him to be punctual, helpful and efficient with a friendly demeanor. He went above and beyond and I’m really glad to have found a reliable and trustworthy electrician. I highly recommend him!

I want to recommend Derek who has been gardening professionally for over 20 years. He recently did a job for me and I found him to be reliable, thorough and affordable. He is based in SE15 and can do most aspects of gardening be it general maintenance, hedge-cutting, planting, pruning, creating beds etc. Derek: 07376 041 321

I have used Garvey Plumbing on several occasions and can totally vouch for their great service and reliability. Even if Lee is busy, he?ll help send a colleague and always replies to messages quickly. Highly recommend.

Southwark to auction off Belham Primary's Caretaker's House
immyp replied to alex_b's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Thank you so much for raising this. I am completely appalled at Southwark going ahead and not even acknowledging the school's entirely reasonable proposal. This is a very serious issue, especially when it involves putting school children at risk from a privacy and safeguarding aspect, let alone the inevitable disruption the renovation works will cause. I will be sending a very firm email voicing my concerns to the Councillors imminently! -
Haha! Thanks rendelharris, much appreciated. Glad I'm not the only one having a thrilling Monday!

Strange question I know, but does anyone know what size (litre-wise) the wheelie bins are here in Southwark? I want to order a wheelie bin 'shed' but don't know if we have the regular 140l or the larger 240l bins. First world problems and all that :) But any help appreciated!

I heard this on the radio too the other day and thought it sounded like a great idea! Although it could probably spark 'Poo Rage' as the dodgy dog-owners and their friends will no doubt take revenge if they find out who exactly snitched on them to the council.
