  2. Hi Charlotte, a small group of us meet on Monday mornings at 0930 at dulwich to run 5 K, plus sometimes on other mornings during the week. We are pretty slow, but like to stagger 5 K through the woods and other local runs. Call me on 07808720016 if you are interested in giving it a try.   7. Just in case anyone else (other than me) was unaware that there is a section devoted to lost and found at the bottom of the lists. I posted about a found cat. If you have lost one please check this section out.
  8. Cat has been taken to the vet in Highshore road who has confirmed it has a microchip. It will be kept there for 7 days and looked after. THis female tabby is very friendly - hope we can reunite her with her owners
  9. This cat followed us to Oglander Road last night and shows no signs of leaving. It has a pink 'safe cat' collar. Going to take it to the vets at 430p to have its microchip scanned in the hope of locating its owner. Please contact me if it is your cat
  10. I met the Italian gentleman who is opening it as a gelateria. He plans to offer drinks later in the year (of the alcoholic kind)
  11. heaps of toad spawn in the pond over the last few days -they have been very busy! Though in about 50% of it the eggs are white - which means that they are dead. Anyone know why - not especially cold

  22. I use someting similar to worldwiser to Waterloo. A good option if you have a smartphone is the cyclemaps app. It routes you mostly away from busy traffic. I mount my phone ( X grip RAM mount)on my handlebars and use it as a satnav. No more getting lost.
  23. Sue, Keira is quite right. If you fill whatever you are going to use today and let it settle/evaporate. By Tues/Weds when you get some toadpoles and plants they will be just fine. Louise
