  1. Hi. Is this still available?
  2. Not same provider but mine is down, had been since lunchtime. There is a fault on the line apparently. Se22. I'm with Shell.
  3. Cheers to the people who's idea of exercising is sitting on a blanket. Well played. It was really nice to have somewhere to run for a while. Now the field has been shut. As a runner I'm hounded for running in the park, hounded for running on the path. I don't want to get anywhere near other people in the slightest, so the only place now left to run is in the road, dodging in and out of traffic. Can we have another try, and those who want to "exercise" by chatting with their family, could perhaps do this on their own sofa???
  4. It's a contentious issue as I live near to where a bench used to be at Greendale (not there now) and this summer has been great because we no longer have people gathering there at night. They were noisy and would be there till late at night, stopping us from sleeping. I really would not welcome another bench. Anyone suggesting it should try putting one outside their bedroom window first...
  5. Those benches also get used at night, by people who seem to like to party outdoors. As a nearby resident, I'm rather happy they are unusable now.
  6. I went round the school in the morning and they were very helpful. They think it was the fire alarm and were getting an engineer in yesterday. Contempt? No. Give them a chance!
  7. There's an alarm going off at Jags. Did the same last night at around 3.30 am for ages. It's driving me mad. Anyone know the caretaker at the school? I can't go out to investigate as I'm a single mum and Google is no help!
  8. It's insane! The noise from this is louder than my daughter in the next room and I have the windows all shut.
  9. Hi Does anybody on here live on Linwood Close? We're thinking of buying there and would like to talk with some existing residents if possible. If you can help, please message me. Thanks L
  10. thanks - ill call them as suggested
  11. Not sure it would be a good idea to identify where we are, given that there are families with kids involved etc.
  12. Not sure what to do in this situation. The house next door has at least 3 different families living in it (some kind of shelter/council housing?) with frequent changes to who is living there. What this is resulting in is very messy bins, which are overflowing, STINK, and are not being collected by the binmen as they clearly have no idea what and how things should be recycled. I went to try to tell them about it, but they had no idea what I was saying as they didn't speak a word of English. I was being very diplomatic but now I'm at a loss. How would you report something like this to the council? Primarily I want the bin smell to go away and not to have to look at mounds of rubbish every time I leave my house. Ideas?
  13. Sorry, pls ignore double post.
  14. Hi. Having just moved in to our house, we have a lot of recycling waste and our bin is now full. Can I bag up the excess and have it taken by the council with the normal collection or do I have to take it somewhere myself? Thanks
