  1. Thanks a lot, so will just leave it like that then, as well.
  2. Interesting to follow, as I?m facing the same decision at the moment.
  3. Yes sounds good, will have to look through my photos...
  4. Hi, I was given a travel cot and soon I have a friend staying with a baby and I was wondering if I need to buy a mattress to put inside the travel cot? Thanks
  5. Good to know, was also looking around, but there are loads online where you have to pay and they don?t seem very good, so didn?t register with any, yet.
  6. Hi, I haven?t got one I could lend you, but I saw that they have some in lidl at the moment. Can?t remember the price, but if no one has one for you, maybe check it out?
  7. By now you probably got photos taken already. But I can also say that Stefanie was lovely. I don?t think she has a studio, only does home visits, but the photos look so beautfiul. This is her homepage: http://www.specialmomentsphotographyltd.co.uk/ I saw her offer in this forum and paid ?120 for a 2 hour photo shoot and got over 50 photos on a cd.
  8. I think it can work out really well, it?s just the matter of finding the right family in your case. For us it was finding the right nanny with own child, it took us ages, but now we are very happy.
  9. Yes I would make sure to leave just before nap time. If that doesn?t work out, plan a stop in the middle to have a little run around. Also bring lots of snacks which take long to eat, so they are busy doing that. Also bring a new toy they don?t know, yet, so that might keep them busy. Also put music on.
  10. As he wants it, I would give it a go. If after a couple of weeks you realise he wasn?t ready after all, you can still give it more time and leave it for a while.
  11. Don?t think you could help there, but my little one just wouldn?t sit long enough for me to take photos ;-)
  12. Just make sure you have enough of everything, like nappies, wipes (especially important), food. New toys, something to chew on while take off and landing. Also enough changes of clothes also very important. And yes plastic bags are usefull as someone menitoned above ;-)
  13. I find this homepage very helpful: http://www.edtots.co.uk/ It says Bobbin Tots is on Tuesday 10:30-11:15 It gets very crowded though. And costs 4,50.
  14. Mclaren I would say, too. It?s easy to push and easy to fold for the bus or in the car, as well.
  15. Wow that is so exciting. Can?t offer advise, but wish we could do that, too ;-) I think I?d try Australia.
