To answer to all replies...Yes , they did say I had the option of bringing my laptop to their offices, but it was not convenient for me.I went for the remote access option as a friend had used them. Yes, I am Knights Tutoring and no this experience I have shared is not an advert, I am a tutor, and clearly not an IT specialist.I came on here to share a negative experience and a positive one. It was not meant as anything other than sharing some information, so you can take the company I used or leave it, I dont really care, it makes no odds to me. My experience with them was fine, great in fact and I am very grateful, I was unable to put back to factory settings as I would have lost some assessment software that couldn't be backed up because my computer wasn't working. So shoot me down for trusting a friends good experience and then sharing it on here!! And to East_Dulwich... I live in East Dulwich and work in Clapham, so hence my sharing on there too. It seems a bit sad that a simple post can induce such detective work and much barking up the wrong tree... Funny though, have a great week back at work x
