  7. Hello all The family involved have sent the following update that they are comfortable with me sharing... The incident occurred on Calton Avenue on the corner of Gilkes crescent, not far from Woodwarde Road. The car was possibly a Volkswagon, it was definitely green. The man was in his 30s of Indian/Asian origin. I wasn?t a witness but I have spoken with our Nanny a few times about the incident. The police will be talking to her on Monday. The incident happened at 3:27. There were surprisingly no witnesses.
  8. Dear Parents/carers, One of our parents has just informed me of an incident that occurred on Woodwarde road yesterday afternoon that I feel is important to make you aware of. Her nanny was walking to pick up at DVIS with the baby in a buggy and 3 year old on a bike. The 3 year old cycled a bit ahead, a man in a green vauxhall got out and tried to grab the child. The nanny shouted him off and he took off in the car. The police were informed by the parents when they returned home, they have stressed that they should have been informed immediately to get cars out in the area. Please do make your carers aware of this too. We will be reading age appropriate 'stranger danger' books to the children as well.
  9. Genuinely thought the title of this thread was a dailymash article

  16. Hello, i received psychotherapy after a traumatic childbirth experience from a Greek (?) lady who was excellent and i have totally forgotten her name! I want to recommend her to a friend in need. Anyone know her? She also worked in Harley St. I think she was originally from Greece? This was a while back so she may have moved on. Thanks
  17. Helicopter, massive number of police cars etc
  18. Hello, I've just been zapped by a policeman who was on camberwell grove just before the lights. There was a group of approx 5 of them. Each time a car went past, they popped out and zapped them. It's a 20mph zone but I've no idea what I was doing. I suspect above 20 but no much. I didn't see them and only realised after I drove past. So, my question is: if I was above 20mph would they pull me up straight away? Or is the fact they let me drive on mean I'm ok? I doubt I was more than 25mph and def not as high as 30mph.
  19. Currently on train now, it's rammed and we're not yet at Queens Road. I remember living there and the nightmare it was getting on an already packed train and that was ten years ago... one solution is to clear out the seats in a carriage? There are 8 ppl sitting down which could easily fit 20.
  20. A BIG recommendation for Simon from Amigosmagic. He did our 6yo's birthday over Christmas and it was perfect. My son is still talking about him and wants him to do his next birthday party.
  21. Genuine question and prob a stupid one, but how do they get from 3.65 to the much larger number of 667? Or whatever it is?
  22. yes - go, but go first thing and it's totally fine.
