Hi everyone, I'm a resident on North Cross Road and decided to make a little film about the street and some of the people who live and work here too, exemplifying different aspects of the local community and celebrating life on the street in our little pocket of South London. Something that might be of interest to parents/teachers/teens keen to take part in something creative and fun during lock down ... The Louise Rennison National Funny Award - is a new writing and performing arts competition designed to showcase the creative and comedic talents of young people in the UK. Inspired by the legacy of late Author and comedian Louise Rennison, the award encourages 11 to 18 year olds to create original comedy by submitting up to 1,000 words or three pages of creative copy or a funny video performance of up to three minutes. The free to enter competition is open from April 1st, with submissions closing on August 31st, where a panel of judges ? including presenters, comedians and writers ? will select the overall competition winners ? set to be revealed in October. The competition falls into two categories: - Comedic Writing (up to 1,000 words of creative copy ? this could be a short story, a script, a screen play, a book chapter or an article for a magazine or newspaper). - Comedic Performance (up to three minutes of video ? this could be a scene for a film, a TV show, a play, an advert or a stand-up performance). Submissions will be judged in two age bands: 11 to 14 and 15 to 18 with the option to enter as an individual or a group (up to four people maximum). There will be prizes for first place, second place and third place runners up that include interactive comedic and creative writing and performance workshops with established writers and comedians; with over 100 books to be given away to runners up. I'm using my DSLR as a webcam to record interviews for a work project, but need an HDMI Out to link from my camera to my laptop. I am using the USB at present but there is a lag. I also have a Cam Link but that needs an HMDI cable too. I'm desperately searching for a cable or a converter as I'm currently having to postpone interviews until I get one ... the idea of posting here was in the hope someone would have one locally I could buy for speed, Amazon has delivered a few that don't work and the delivery times are increasing all the time, I'm missing some important calls!

Hello, I'm looking for an HDMI to HDMI cable that fits a micro HDMI port on a Canon E0S 250D DSLR camera, leading to a regular HDMI port on a laptop. Hi folks, There?s a new cultural festival coming to London in 2018, bringing together the latest creative talent in film, music, art and photography with submissions now open for the inaugural Four Seasons Film Festival. Launched by passionate film lovers Holmlands and Green Owl Films, the festival will be held at London?s historic Cadogan Hall, in Sloane Square, providing an audience of up 7000 people over the weekend of 3rd and 4th February 2018. Hello, I will be hosting a special live music night on Wednesday October 19th in Soho and I'm looking for two more artists to perform live music in the venue. The evening is an extension of ski movie screenings I have hosted over the past two years and will take the form of an apres ski night in London, with a prize draw and LCD screens around the venue showing scenes from ski movies of years gone by. The type if artists I'm looking for would be soloists who can perform an up tempo, acoustic set. PA kit can be provided in the venue with a small fee available for a 1-1.5 hour set to be agreed in advance, with promotion of your music through our website, social channels and database.
