We are lucky to live in a society where we have the right to freely express opinions. People can decide the qualitative elements of what was expressed for themselves. Offensive remarks are part of the landscape as it is impossible to not offend someone at some time.

Thanks for pointing this out. Always good to be aware.

You mentioned a few frustrations and disappointments that are compelling you to think about change. I would ask you to think about this in a few different ways: First, make a clear list of the all of the problems you are facing (debt, family time, commuting, clean air, job woes, etc. I'm sure there are more. Get them all listed. Next to each give a number to the level of frustration (1=low 5=very high) Then think about the various ways to solve them by moving and select 2-3 locations that you feel are within a reasonable grasp to move to. Pick the best ones and create a future scenario of your new life as if you have been in it for a year and the novelty and romanticism has calmed down. Re rank the problem list (1-5) and see what has changed and reflect on what it means to you. Lastly, try to devise solutions to the same initial problem list without moving. Rerank these solutions and reflect on what this means to you. I'm a professional coach and happy to provide some time (free) for you as I'm in the process of moving out of London too and am away from my new home this week. These are multi-layered issues and very difficult to see your way through. I work with people in a may in which they can put there own wisdom to work delayering issues into rational and emotional components and then taking action that's right for them. I'm an engineer, learning professional, facilitator and personal coach with 30 + years experience and still coping myself. If any of the above makes sense and is useful...great! If you want help, I'll give you 90 minutes of free time and nothing more actually as I'm pretty busy here renovating, clearing out and preparing to exit from London.

Unusual offer but two good friends have had to cancel a dinner with me tonite at Peckham Bazaar. If there are two people who would like to go with me, let me know. I'm an older gentleman who doesn't want to lose the reservation as it is hard to come by. I am a good listener and can contribute to topics of movies, politics, science and business and others. It's 9:30 this evening. We split the bill three ways. Let me know by calling or texting 07808 786 452. I'm Dan

Experiences at Babette in Nunhead. It looks like the old Page II Pub has finally found a winner that will stick around. The menu is creative and exquisite yet simple. The service is warm and friendly. A few issues exist however worth discussing. Three of us were there last evening and despite being a restaurant, there are people who seem only to come there to drink. This is not a problem except there is no where for them to hang out so the migrate between restaurant tables which is annoying and has certain perils like when a person pushed into our table and toppled our drinks. You basically have two choices of sharing plates (Meat or veggie) and then you order sides. The combination of items on the sharing plates change daily resulting in the waiting staff not actually knowing what is on your plate. Every time we asked, we got different answers and this was a problem as some of our party could not eat certain things. Once they figured this out, they changed the chalkboard to reflect reality. Babette is sweet and caring and listened to our issues when we spoke up and the waiting staff brought us some new replacements so problem was solved. I really lke this place but the issues are real. Anyone else?

Interesting! Shadowfax was also a band from Chicago. They were often listed in arrangements from Windham Hills.

Lights will not blink either, which is standard on planes. Also it will do all of this in about 4 minutes which means you will witness an object move about 1000 miles in 4 minutes.

Look up in the sky tonight at 9:34 PM. 77 degrees. Try to get a wide angle view starting from the northeast. You will see a very bright object passing through the sky in an arc. This is how you will know it is not a plane. as it will start low and move high and then low again until it disappears over the horizon. Its brightness will not fade either. A plane will just fade away. It will be travelling 30 time faster than a plane. You will see it again at 11:10 pm. only then it will be virtually straight overhead.
