  1. I have received some parcels today 48 hour tracked and posted 16th and 18th October! No wonder Royal Mail don't want their Track and Trace system to work Spent the morning paying back sellers that have already refunded me.
  2. Track and Trace has not worked for 6 days now!
  3. This keeps happening to me. In fact yesterday a regular postman sat outside in his van for 10 minutes, didn't get out to deliver anything at all.
  4. It's Royal Mail, not the Post Office. In East Dulwich it's the parcels and large letters that are not being delivered.
  5. Post today consisted of a checkatrade leaflet a Sofa.com leaflet and a Thames Water bill. Radio Times and Spectator have not arrived for weeks and as they are tired of extending my subscription are going to send tracked for next 2 weeks. In the meantime no small parcels have arrived at all since 4th October and no way of tracking.
  6. My regular postman is still doing his walk, he is just not delivering anything of importance. Subscription stuff, letters with postage stamps and small parcels have not been sorted for weeks and are therefore not being delivered.
  7. Yes that's right, that's all I am getting in general. Yet, subscription magazines are not arriving, at least not on time. Still no regular parcels since 4th October!
  8. I too have pushed on with CEO office and I also had a reply from Luis Ponte as follows:- "Thank you for your email. I am very sorry that you remain unsatisfied with the frequency of your local mail delivery. As per my previous correspondence, we are doing all that we can to provide the best possible service to all of our customers, including your area. Deliveries may be affected by the ongoing industrial action. This also causes a backlog of mail items which can affect the service for several days after. In addition, your local office regrettably is currently facing a much higher level of absence than normal, leaving them low on staffing resources. Nonetheless they are processing and delivering as much mail as they are capable of doing, and rounds are looped to ensure that no area goes too long without a delivery. I recognise that this may be inconvenient and distressing, for which I again offer my sincerest apologies. We hope to have normal service levels resume as soon as possible. Kind regards, Luis Ponte Royal Mail - Chairman and Chief Executive Office"
  9. " Regarding your comments of there having been issues previous to the industrial action, I can see we in the CEO Office were contacted at the end of last year into the beginning of this year, but nothing over the last 8 months. Customers may have contacted us via the usual Customer Service channels within this time but I won’t be able to locate those unless the customer comes directly to us. " So what have I and others been doing then? More strikes planned by the way, 24 and 25th November.
  10. Here is response from Postal Review Panel "Thank you for your email regarding a recent complaint you have made to Royal Mail Customer Services. The Postal Review Panel is a ‘ring fenced’ team that sits outside of Royal Mail Customer Services and we are empowered to review complaints from customers who have used a Royal Mail service. To enable us to provide you with a full review, we will firstly need to collate all the information held by Royal Mail Customer Services. Also, further investigations may be necessary. For this reason, it may take 30 calendar days to provide you with a final response. Please be assured that this matter is being taken seriously and we will contact you on completion of our review or if we require further information from you." Separately, Royal Mail are now blaming lack of deliveries on staff absenteeism. Our postman was here again today posting through junk mail and charity stuff, no proper mail except one out of date Spectator magazine. Still no parcels since 4th October. Regular tracking provided for parcels is hopeless as you cannot track until a delivery has been attempted!
  11. I have escalated my complaint to The Postal Review Panel. If you have already complained to CEO's office and have a reference number this is the next step.
  12. Quite curiously, ditto, again today - my experiences regarding untimely delivery of periodicals matches yours. I suspect Ms Hayes is currently inundated by being 'copied in' to correspondence with CEO Royal Mail - if we can anticipate any response it may well be in her regular constituency letters if she has taken up (again) the cudgels on our behalf. I believe she (or her office) is more likely (in my experience at least) to respond when she is the main addressee rather than a cc - not unreasonable when she is handling (I'm guessing) quite a high load of more direct personal cases. Copying in an MP gets the CEO response moved into being a 'flag case' (old PO jargon dating back to the days when it was still a government department and then a nationalised industry) where you are more likely to get an official actually thinking about the issue. See my previous post. I had already written to Helen Hayes and had no response, hence I just copied her in when I contacted the CEO's office again. She did respond to another poster on here though.
  13. I have e-mailed CEO office at Royal Mail again today and copied Helen Hayes in. By the way Helen Hayes has still not replied to my previous e-mail other than usual acknowledgment. We have had no regular parcels, other than signed for, since beginning of October. Time sensitive publications never arrive in time since September and go straight into recycling. Our regular postman arrived in a van today and still managed not to deliver anything. If you are not receiving your mail please complain to CEO'office and Helen Hayes MP to keep the pressure on.
  14. As I am still receiving little post and was still unsatisfied. This is what the Royal Mail CEO office told me to do. "Thank you for your email. I am very sorry that you remain unhappy with the response provided to your complaint. Your complaint is already with the Chairman’s office, and senior staff are aware of the issues. My colleagues and I are empowered to respond to customer contacts on behalf of the CEO and board members. The manager covers deliveries for the SE22 postcode area. Whilst I am unable to go into the specifics of coverage and operational organisation, I can assure you that your particular walk or address are not being unfairly targeted or affected by the current challenges. We are doing all that we can to minimise the impact of the industrial action on our customers. This involves a number of strategies and solutions which are employed across the country, and depending on the area. Should you remain dissatisfied with the response, you may wish to have your case assessed by the Postal Review Panel. They can be reached by emailing [email protected] – take care to ensure you quote the reference number from the top of this email should you choose to contact."
  15. So the ceo office is denying being contacted in last weeks by myself and others on here? What did Helen Hayes say, she didn't bother to respond to me?
  16. Yes. I thought that was strange too, the before graphics are wrong, they should be as they are now!
  17. This is spot on.
  18. I have contacted Royal Mail CEO here is response " Regrettably, due to the ongoing industrial action, the Delivery Office are unable to fully cover all of the walks within their remit. This results in a backlog of mail which must be cleared. However, in order to most efficiently minimise the impact on our customers, rounds are looped to ensure that no particular walk is without a delivery of mail for too long a period of time." Royal Mail are blaming CWU but we know full well that this has been going on long before the Industrial action. Still waiting for a response from Helen Hayes MP. Really needs more people to complain if anything is to be done about this. Complain to this address:- [email protected]
  19. Outside hairdressers at Dulwich Village junction. They are in a wonderful position closest to all the displaced traffic on Dulwich Village. I cannot imagine why anyone would want to sit there.
  20. It's awful, recycled tat from a temporary structure in Dulwich Picture Gallery, Looks what it is, cheap and nasty.
  21. They have worked in the area for years, selling dusters and other cheap tat. Yes, they are insistent and very sweary and aggressive if you don't buy. Cannot see link with burglaries though? Our neighbourhood Police Team gave this advice: "regarding “the area increasingly being targeted by hawkers selling stuff from massive backpacks that they carry and them being threatening and being abusive and aggressive”. We (SAFER NEIGHBOURHOOD POLICE TEAM) have increased our foot and mobile patrol in the area recently. We are aiming to stop them and deal with any apparent and alleged offences. I would advise you to call 999 if they become threatening and abusive and aggressive toward the residents as it clearly counts as public order offences. This would help us to stop and identify them and collect evidence while they are still in the area. Kind Regards, PC ADHIKARI – 2208AS"
  22. Yes, been going on since yesterday morning, TW nowhere in sight!
  23. The same last Thursday week when I went past. What an absolute waste of water.
  24. The sandy bit circling the park is for horses! Horses have used the park for "donkeys" years, from Dulwich Stables and the Police Station. They visited more frequently in the past, but riders are put off by all the off lead dogs. The area for exercising dogs off lead are clearly marked and under used.
