  1. Yes, you are correct. It's yet another misleading and confusing sign.
  2. Most probably do, some don't, especially the ones that walk 5 or 6 or more. The point is they are off lead in that area, as you know it is quite overgrown, so it is impossible to know sometimes where the dog has pooed. Strange response - This take is completely different to my experience of seeing dog poo on most pavements in Southwark. Most dog owners do pick up after their dogs on the pavement, and Southwark also do a great job at keeping our pavements clean.
  3. Sorry, I meant that you told OP the Park Office is next to the Cycle Hire!
  4. Having looked at the map again it does look as though the dogs and joggers have to share that perimeter path. I would avoid and jog on the main paths if I were you. Many dog walkers just let their dogs off lead on that path and they just poo where they like as they can't be seen. As Ian said, if it really is that important to you just call in to the office and ask them.
  5. I have just looked on the "Friends map", The jogging area, according to them, is the main path for pedestrians, where there are no brambles, thistles etc. The dog exercise area is right at the back and is nicely overgrown, I think OP has jogged on wrong path.
  6. That's what I thought, the paths are narrow enough without having cyclists on them.
  7. Didn't know there was a jogging track, I thought that area was for dog walking.
  8. What sort of repairs do you do? I need a new clasp on a gold necklace and a soldering repair.
  9. The nuttiest thing I saw today was the poor Peckham peoples selection of candidates, oh dear!
  10. So what???????? Later on it was closed both ways
  11. You seem to have posted on wrong discussion.
  12. Prepare to be astonished, but I could hear it in Herne Hill on Sunday.
  13. The Estate Agents don't put the boards up, they employ a board company to do that, perhaps it's just a mistake. Why don't you just take it down?
  14. Glad they will be reunited, Bunny looks as though he has been well loved!
  15. Hello Someone has found Bunny and taken it home so it didn't get wet! It was on a bench in the playground. Here is link to Zoe https://www.facebook.com/groups/900015513463302/user/100005564226293/
  16. Yes, loads of stuff missing, some sent weeks ago. Hopeless.
  17. Apart from planned works and emergency works, you will also be responsible for an annual service charge for a share in the insurance, gardening, cleaning, maintenance etc.
  18. I assume this is a joke?
  19. I have never heard thunder so loud and so quick after the lightning!
  20. Maybe not for you, but It is for the people that work there and for those shoppers around Walworth Road.
  21. What is it particularly that you want to know? Is it the house you are interested in or the people that lived there or whether Joseph Tall was involved in it's construction?
  22. According to Councillor Leeming, on my doorstep, only evidence is of perceived crime.
  23. This will mean that all the teachers from Alleyns and JAGS will no longer be able to park on Carlton Ave, Townley, Gilkes etc. They will still drive in each day and just end up parked on someone else's street instead.
  24. "But never mind, cutting one's journey time by ten minutes is much more important 🙄" How about increasing everyone's journey time by that and more, which the LTN's and bus gates have done. This causes even more pollution.
  25. According to Southwark Council consultation report from 2023 it is a protected view:- "The view of St Pauls Cathedral from Nunhead Cemetery is a protected view within the Southwark Plan and this is acknowledged within the CMP. The CMP contains an ‘action plan’, which states that the view should continue to be maintained within the cemetery by cutting back tree growth. Some residents were concerned that this was not happening regularly enough to retain this view. Unfortunately, the regularity of maintenance is limited by our maintenance budget. Should visitors notice that the view has become obscured, it would be helpful if they could inform council staff."
