  1. Target's, they weren't replicas! The other side of the road to Head's the butchers, close to where Austin's was.
  2. No it didn't, but it was true at the time!
  3. The itemised bill is probably for the entire estate rather an individual flat, You would need to look at the invoice for the property.
  4. Is the person in the photo delivering or receiving the parcels?
  5. And all those 2-3 minute diversions for every vehicle adds to the pollution!
  6. Not used for a teenager, but I go there and they are excellent. My dentist is Daniel, his wife Niki is great too. Why not make an appointment with them for your teenager and see how they get on, they are very gentle in my opinion?
  7. "Let 'em in" Wings!
  8. The only people that sat on those awful seats at DV junction were workmen stopping to have a fag. Once it is tarted up, who on earth would want to sit there breathing in fumes from the all the vehicles that are now forced onto Dulwich Village? There are so many green areas to sit, such as Dulwich Park, Belair, Dulwich Picture Gallery etc
  9. The one in Nunhead Lane may do?
  10. I think you will find I was not wrong about the LTN being an issue for Harold George. If you think the LTN's are not an issue for the shops in DV ask in the Post Office, the Chemist, the Art shop, the Bookshop and the Dry Cleaners as well.
  11. Depends on what you mean by years ago, but the staff and management and owners have changed over the years, and the recent staff were very good and they used to be busy even on Sunday. They gave up Sunday opening after the LTN was introduced due to fewer appointments being made.
  12. Why did you keep going back over the years?
  13. They have struggled since the LTN was imposed on Dulwich Village. They HAVE been closed down. They have GONE.
  14. See my post, nothing to explain.
  15. After 40 years, Harold George, latest casualty of LTN at Dukwich Village Junction
  16. One of the improvements are speed humps to slow the cyclists down.
  17. Well I am not an apologist for JAGS, just stating a fact that they are employed by DBS, and it is they that should pay their staff more and give them more hours if they want them!
  18. It's Choumert Road not street. We have pavements in Sarf London not sidewalks. They are awnings over the shops and market stalls next to the kerb.
  19. Depends on what your defence is I suppose.
  20. I shouldn't worry about it, you are entitled to an opinion. I thought it strange as well, as I have never seen a shop put up makeshift sheets to protect their fruit and veg in my life, an awning usually does the job. Perhaps they are in a particularly sunny spot.
  21. It's been weeks, not last few hot days! Just saying, I don't use the shop and couldn't care less!
  22. The cleaners are employed by DBS not JAGS. DBS are a massive company and clean all sorts of buildings all over London and the South, their website says "We believe in providing our staff members with ongoing training and a fair wage ensuring that they are best placed to service our client’s buildings to a high standard on a daily basis."
  23. Yes, I saw that too, thought it a bit weird. The price of their veg must make them particularly precious.
