Malumbo - Umm no, I didn’t say or suggest any of those things. I said that the council is trying to create parking pressure so as to introduce blankets CpZ. There is no need for 3 bike bays within steps of each other. I find it amusing that you cannot tolerate any (often justified)whisper of critism of the council. BTW I frequently use lime bikes and am over 60.

Yes it does reduce parking as it is usually accompanied by extended yellow lines. Dulwich village is a perfect example. The council creates parking pressure by reducing space to convince residents to accept a cpz. The other trick is to introduce lots of e bike and scooter bays whether or not they are needed. An example is by the Herne Tavern. One was put next to the bike hanger on st aidans, another is next to the bius stop where on the pavement, and another is now on the road just opposite - three all within 15 paces of each other. They are usually empty.

I do not believe for one moment local businesses asked for more yellow lines and the removal of available parking for customers. This is part of the ‘creep’ of removing parking - ultimately to introduce paid for parking (which is their policy).

I think most under 18’s are ok until 8pm. Whilst most pubs are child friendly, they want them to be child free in the evenings

Tbh most Tesla owners are people who are concerned about the environment and have purchased accordingly- but mr nut job has soured their purchasing- so I actually sympathise with them being associated with such an awful man. But to actively promote the company given the knowledge we now know about him makes utterly unacceptable.

In response to the query about cost, I think it is perhaps more to do with the news, a raised arm and world events….

It seems they are collaborating with Tesla to promote the latest model…. Not sure how this will go down locally…

Cutting down of the Cherry Tree Peckham Rye Park

Admin please remove if not appropriate There is a small silver car parked in Northcross road near Nutfield Road which I am hoping the owner would be kind enough to move? We have a large removal lorry coming tomorrow and this is just in the way of where they could safely park. I appreciate that they are parked totally legally and safely -but it would be a incredibly helpful if it could be moved. The start of the number plate is M11 Thank you in advance

Cutting down of the Cherry Tree Peckham Rye Park

But they were going to cut down a tree that had no notice on it ? Either way thank goodness people intervened. My total lack of confidence in Southwark tree dept is justified it would seem…
