Both my children (now 8 and 6) spent their early years (from 1 - 3 years)with Sylvia and Richard. I can?t recommend them more highly. They cultivated independence and curiosity in a perfect setting. They have spent a huge amount of time investing in all areas of their space. The outside space and garden is incredible - everything is based around the children. One of the most important aspects for me was to ensure the children felt safe, happy and at home. Sylvia and Richard provided a home from home, with loads of laughs, love and brilliant activities with an emphasis on learning - including skills like feeding themselves. It was extremely sad when we had to leave. We are still in touch and the children still talk about their days with Sylvia and Richard. Happy to be contacted if you have questions.

At 9 months pregnant the washing machine leaking all over the floor was not the most welcome of sights! After reading recommendations on EDF I gave Steve a call and he was fantastic! He knew what the problem was straight away, and after speedily ordering a new part was over in a few days and had the machine fixed and working within the hour. From start to finish Steve was professional, efficient and friendly - and the price was extremely reasonable. An all round great service - I would not hesitate to recommend Steve/spin doctor!

Hello edf, I am currently looking at childcare options before I go back to work on 24 feb. my neighbour and I both have 11 month olds and considering nanny sharing but haven't got any experience of how it works. Are there any nannys out there looking for work or could tell us costs etc. we live in Peckham rye. Many thanks everyone!

Hello EDF Mums and Dads, We are looking for a child minder to look after our one year old son from the end of February 2014. To start with we are looking for 2 long days per week (8-6) going up to three days in June 2014. Although the days are not yet set it is likely to be a Tuesday and Thursday to start with. We are looking for someone close by in SE15 in the Bellenden Road area. It would be great to hear your recommendations, tips and advice as well as from child minders who might be available in the area. THANKS so much everyone
