  1. Hi I would highly recommend Tal and her team at Early Bloomers Whateley Rd. We've just moved onto preschool but it's a lovely small nursery setting. We loved it. http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?25,1708808,1714512#msg-1714512 Pm me if you want more info. Thanks Anita
  2. Im a big fan of Cornwall (in particular north cornwall - Port Isaac, rock, padstow etc). Have a great holiday x
  3. Hi, Does anyone know when nursery places will be announced for Goodrich school Sept term? Ive contacted the school but they just said mid April-May. Thanks in advance,
  4. I called the number above on Ellie31's post. I assume HMRC? Who does the letter need to come from? Very new to this as never claimed child benefit. What a mess they have created with these changes!
  5. Thanks Devsdev I also called them & as we haven't claimed child benefit either, they are sending up a letter to state this within 4 weeks. We cannot opt out as we never opted in. The changes came into effect just before my child was born. Hopefully this will be ok for schools? We are also applying next year.
  6. I use a maclaren double triumph for travelling via airports and nursery runs with my 2 little ones. Its great, easy to push and folds up well leaving space in car for luggage etc. I also used an out n about and mountain buggy but find theyre too big for travelling. Citi mini double seems really good too.
  7. HI Cant really offer any ideas but can say that renting a villa is really nice as you have all the facilities of home with 2 young kids. We did it last year in Portugal with our then 2 year old and 10 month old (Sardinia the year before with just one child). Both were fine around the pool, yes you do have to be careful and watch them but they also learn the dangers and just keep armbands on them as much as possible. We are going back to the same place this year. Good luck with holiday planning.
  8. Oh phew! Thank you, I was very worried ;)
  9. Yes Still need letter from priest. I don't mind not getting a nursery place but Im concerned a rejection will have a impact on reception application?
  10. I've just applied for a nursery place in Sept 16 but have a feeling we wont get one due to irregular mass attendance (mainly because of 2nd baby & some health problems). My main concern is will this have any impact on an application for reception? I'm a bit worried that we should of just waited until school age, when our mass attendance will be better! Thx

  18. Hello Get the slow teat... Usually newborn stage 1. I found medala bottles brilliant when I was struggling with breastfeeding & needed to top up with a bottle them switched to advent ( similiar to tommy tippee). http://www.mothercare.com/on/demandware.store/Sites-MCENGB-Site/default/ProductExtensions-GetImageZoom?pid=322906 The bottle is expensive but worth it if combination feeding. Best of luck, sounds like you're doing everything you can ;)
  19. Hi Can anyone recommend some local BF support groups? I'm due my second baby in July so don't require yet but want to get prepared! I had a terrible time breast feeding my first, she kept loosing weight so midwife insisted on combination feeding (which ended up mainly formula) from 2 weeks old. Would love to give it another go with a bit more success (& I'll be more relaxed this time round) !! X
  20. Hello! I can do any of those dates ;)) See you soon x
