  4. Luckily my daughter's nursery are providing her angel costume (looks like a bridesmaid dress from M&S, but it's dark blue with gold stars - odd) - I just have to provide the wings, which I found at the 99p shop in Camberwell. Ace!
  5. The Tate Modern is great for babies - lots of fun things to look at and space for them to toddle around. Wagamamas nearby is good for lunch - they have high chairs etc and are geared up for babies.

    Flies

They are coming to spend the winter in your house. My advice is to hoover them up and then bin the hoover bag pronto. Apparently they can produce a foul smelling liquid that stains if disturbed and reproduce at an alarming rate. We had alarming numbers congregating in the corner of our living room, around light fittings and on our curtains and I decided as they were the nasty foreign kind to eliminate them immediately. They started grossing me out after a while, and I usually love ladybirds. mockney piers Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > We've an infestatin of ladybirds (the foreign > bitey ones). At this time of year?!?!? Weird

  19. my daughter has one under her eye, but it's under her skin so no problems with ulceration etc. It looks a bit like a swollen bruise, so I get pretty sick of people saying "cor what a shiner", or "oh dear, she must have had a nasty fall"...Now I just say "it's a birthmark" before they've even finished - probably a bit rude, but I'm fed up of explaining it! She's being seen at the Great Ormond St dermatology clinic and they say that in 90% of cases they gradually disappear by the time they're 7. Fingers crossed...
