  1. yes, Aria and his team are great! I've used them both in my home and rental flat and they are so polite and efficient. Louise
  2. Aria is amazing. He takes care of everything for me in my rental flat. He's respectful, reasonably priced and I really trust him. Highly recommend! Louise
  3. I want to learn to dance - at the tender age of 42! Does anyone know if there are any beginners classes in the area? Thanks
  4. I just hired James from Pressplay for a circus party for 25 six year olds. He demonstrated and taught them circus tricks like balancing peacock feathers, spinning plates, diablo sticks, juggling and loads more. The children's faces were a picture of wonderment and complete delight when they had a go themselves. Every child learnt something and has, apparently, been raving about the party ever since. James was so professional, he managed all the different personalities really well, including my three year old so she didn't feel left out. The parents were gobsmacked by his manner. Can't recommend him enough. And only ?150 for two full hours, during which he orchestrated the bday tea and cake presentation. Thank you James!! Here's his details: www.pressplay.org.uk t. 07939 225 213 / 0208 771 5075 email: [email protected]

Tragic indeed but necessary! Thanks so much too, ladyruskin. My husband and I had a play in Currys the other day. Was surprised at how reasonable the prices seem there. APparently all we have to do is email dimensions of appliances to howdens and they will check they fit. What could possibly go wrong???!!
  6. We are going with Howdens at the moment, been back and forth a few times but we're getting there. Can I ask, does anyone have a recommendation for places to purchase integrated appliances? Howdens' Lamona range is so expensive and I'd rather go for names I know. Looking online is a stab in the dark at the moment! Thanks Louise
  7. Peckham pulse also good
  8. First Place Cambridge House, or Chumleigh site in Burgess Park. Two kids there, absolutely love it.
  9. thanks for all the recommendations. In the end I tried Little Clipper for zoe and her five year old brother. Didn't much like the manner of the older hairdresser with my daughter, she was barking at her to do this, do that, over and over again. She's only just two! Great playroom though so will probably be tempted again.
  10. Hi there, my two year old daughter is in desperate need of a haircut. Our usual place - with lots of kids' entertainment - has just closed. Can anyone recommend somewhere local? Here's hoping, I can hardly see her face:)
