  1. Olbas oil is the traditional fix for this common issue, however as it can be quite difficult to procure at this time of year don't forget the obvious but slightly less convenient option of carving divots every few inches until half way up the frame.
  2. In my experience this brand of crime is typical of areas where you have long roads such as Barry road. I have lived in one or two villages with winding lanes which tend to keep your average thug concentrating on the task in hand. However, whenever you relieve them of the need to keep their wits about them they tend to revert to type which is predictably unfortunate for those with premium autos. The answer of course is to present the thug with a distraction such as an orange cone filled with sand. He will be drawn to it like a fly to something unpleasant all the while tiring himself out wrestling with the sluggish base.
  3. I was told that a cyclist collided with an oncoming bus while trying to overtake a rubbish truck, hence the cyclist was on the wrong side of the road. I was also told that when all came to rest the cyclist was positioned just in front of one of the bus front wheels on the road, although it couldn't be seen if they had actually gone under. One point im confused by though was that I was told the cyclist was male, but they could have gotten this detail incorrect. Even though based on what I'm told it would seem in this case the cyclist was on the wrong side of the road, it would not surprise me to hear that the bus driver was partially at fault. Thid is because I have personally observed multiple instances of bus drivers exhibiting a macho attitude on rye lane, accelerating rapidly in the face of oncoming cyclists even when the obstruction is on the driver's side of the road, forcing the cyclist to take diversionary action despite having right of way.
  4. spider, black cabs tend to cover the london area, so the comparisons are being made to this broad region.
  5. This good news and should be extended and enforced. Drivers in this area are relatively wreckless in aggregate and need to have a higher level of control exterted over them than elsewhere. My basis for this is personal observation, and a significant sample size of black cab drivers who have remarked to me that the driving culture is notably more aggressive here.
