I went to the open day at Kingsdale this week. I have two daughters who will be entering secondary education next year in 2014. There were many aspects of the school I liked but I also have some reservations. I would be very interested in hearing the views of other parents who have children at Kingsdale. What particularly worries me is there GCSEs results for 2012 - which was something like 38% for A-Cs. One of the worst results in Southwark. This year (2013) it's much better - according to their own website. Something in the region of 64%. A massive jump. I just find it hard to understand how a school can achieve such wildly different results. Any views/comments would be much appreciated.
