  1. Someone near me regularly has one at night throughout autumn. I think they do it in one of those metal containers though, but it stinks. The stinky smell of too much charcoal lighter has also started.
  2. Mark Ronson loves to say the word Glasto.
  3. This is where foxes come in useful. Or, get a few Jack Russells in.....there must be enough in ED to form a pack and have a go. I am being serious.
  4. Practically tear a fox a new one? What does that mean? An old, timid or feeble cat wouldn't have a chance against a fox. I haven't ever seen a cat almost as big as a fox, unless it is a small cub.
  5. Iced tea.
  6. Where would you put those yellow bags? in with the green bin stuff? In the past I had some yellow boxes for needle disposal for blood thinner injections and disposed of it at GP surgery.
  7. I didn't even notice the threading stall! I don't think eyebrows would fly very far though,
  8. Will it have the ubiquitous small (overpriced) plates?
  9. Why didn't you call the bank and let them know, they would contact him.
  10. Sometimes, when travelling on motorways McDonalds are all that is available. I once tried a Burger King instead and it was so vile, the burger was like shoe leather. And a McDonald's breakfast McMuffin and a coffee isn't too bad at all.
  11. Why would they call the pub the same name as it was previously? Pointless.
  12. Do other local authorities have breastfeeding clinics?
  13. Hold my nose? I have been known to visit McDonalds before and I don't need to hold my nose.
  14. Anderson's in Bellenden Road charges ?10 for a burger without fries. Meat from Flock and Herd.
  15. Can James Barber help?
  16. They had some delicious focaccia the other day. I also tried a rye bread with raisins, wasn't so keen on that. It had too many raisins in it for my taste, and I like raisin and cinnamon bread.
  17. I think it's ok to have a picnic if you have come to visit a relative or friend's grave, but not to call for hundreds of people to go and hang out there.

Free wifi is the norm now and has been for years. How does it help people on a budget if you need to buy something to drink and eat possibly before sitting down. Most people have wifi at home. I found I spent more by going out to use cafes than I would by staying home. How could it be otherwise?
  19. What is the difference in performance between the Pixie and the Inissia? John Lewis has some good deals on for them at the moment?

Boarding kennels also say that dogs need a kennel cough vaccination. Those vaccinations do not cover all the strains of kennel cough. I haven't used boarding kennels for my animals.
  23. Humans aren't vaccinated each year, so why should animals be?
  24. A cat isn't guaranteed not to get cat flu because of being vaccinated. You were unlucky, and it was a coincidence that it happened one month later. If a vet can get money from you every year for booster shots, then they will. The animals are yours, it's up to you to decide what to do. Educate yourself. I know someone whose cat died within a week of their annual booster, the cat suffered fits and went blind, apparently that is not uncommon, and it was caused by the vaccine the vet said. I stopped vaccinating my last cat after hearing that and he lived to the age of 19, and wasn't vaccinated after the age of 8.
