  1. Anyone know the most reasonable priced place to get Advocate?
  2. There is a car wash on the Old Kent Rd, just past Aldi on same side, if you are coming from Nunhead. It's set up in a car park. Was planning to try that one, has anyone else tried it?
  3. Put notes through some of their doors in that case.
  4. In the Royal Parks, these shouty people have to pay for their business to use said Parks.
  5. Yes, the owner is French. That is why the name changed from what it was originally, as everyone kept referring to it as The French Cafe.
  6. Tea tree oil is wonderful for so many skin problems.
  7. In case people didn't know, libraries take batteries for recycling. I have always been able to put cardboard in my recycling bin, or next to it and it has been taken. Sainsburys DKH car park has textile recycling I think.
  8. Joanne Good, also on BBC London, weekday afternoons, and Saturday mornings, with Simon Lederman.
  9. King's Road might be fun as well. There's a Saturday market on.
  10. Sounds like one for Matt Allwright.

I was hoping to kill them before they reached that height. When they are just little saplings, swaying in the wind. Wanted to know if poison would work from above.
  12. How does the take-away wine compare to the same at ToastED?
  13. There are so many self seeding sycamores in these parts, would love advice on how to get rid of them.
  14. The sausage meat at Flock and Herd is good. Or buy the many flavoured sausages they do and take skins off. They use a mix which they then flavour differently depending on the type. Think they won a sausage award recently.
  15. It's also on the market to rent for ?2700 pcm.
  16. I know a rehomed racing greyhound who has killed both a puppy and cat and is local to this area. Now wears a muzzle. thankfully. Would find it very stressful worrying about having dog prone to such things. They will also kill squirrels in the parks. But, the gardeners of the parks seem to like that as they don't like the squirrels digging up their bulbs.
  17. Princess Anne had an EBT that killed one of the Queen's corgis and also attacked another dog in a park. Think the Princess had to make a court appearance about the attack on the other dog. Don't get a lurcher type dog, or greyhound or whippet as they usually have a huge prey drive.
  18. Maltese and Bichons are good with cats, or you could get a cross like a Maltipoo, or Bichpoo but be sure to research their health testing as they should have had some if responsibly bred.
  19. Mini schnauzers are everywhere nowadays. Not sure why, as they have a hideous high pitched bark. My cousins had a slew of them, one after the other, well before they became popular, and the barking was unbearable.
  20. I think the honey stall on Northcross Rd. sells Spanish honey.
  21. I think those were generic sausage rolls supplied by someone else and baked on the premises. I have seen them at other delis. Was told the pork was Gloucester Old Spot
  22. I think the Ayres honey is about ?8 a jar.
  23. CKC spaniels have too many health problems. It's too risky to get one of them. Have a look at the Pedigree Exposed Dogs website. You might find that the cats don't take to the dog. I have had cats and dogs, and my last cat was there before the dog came, he never liked her, but she loved him. Have your cats ever met a dog before?
