  1. Had a look at the details on that house. The garden appears tiny, only a patio style, so that makes the house too top heavy for such a garden. You could find a 4/5 bed for much less money than original asking price. Also, very close to traffic noise and pollution, and difficult to park.
  2. Do the police still have the crime prevention officers that will come around and advise you on what to do to hopefully prevent any further break-ins?
  3. If you use contactless payment, is the price the same as Oyster?
  4. You can make coleslaw without mayo.
  5. Sounds like a job for Face The Facts.
  6. Sorry to hear that. Did they force or break the window? I had a burglary where a small sash window was forced. I put bars on it after that.
  7. Was it underpinned twice in the same place? Was it done by the same insurance company both times? Was it under guarantee when it was done the second time? Perhaps Barry Road houses suffer from subsidence due to the buses going up and down the road. Ivydale Road seems to suffer from the same problems.

One of my cats was, sadly he is no more. I only ever saw a few dismembered bodies when he was around. My dog is not interested in mice at all. You would need to get a fast terrier or lurcher type dog.
  14. Clubs? Truncheons? Why did the boy think the man was being beaten? I have seen a man being arrested locally, he was a burglar and was wrestled to the ground by a group of cops. He was very vocal, but he wasn't beaten. I was watching closely to see what they were doing, as it did sound like he was being hurt.

  18. From the article - 'The nearest other surgery was being moved into Dulwich Hospital'....I heard that eventually Melbourne Grove was supposed to move there.
  19. Rounders is not the same as baseball. A batter doesn't run to a base even if he doesn't make a hit.

Then put it back in the freezer, and if the bowl is too big, use a container as above. Did you get two bowls with the machine?

  25. The southern end of ED seems to be worse, according to that map. I am at northern end, and don't find the the noise too intrusive.
