  1. You can also do it in a slow cooker overnight and use the pinhead oatmeal. I like to grate an apple into raw porridge oats, and then add yogurt, honey and lemon juice, plus fresh seasonal fruit. Or put some apple juice or milk into the porridge oats and put in fridge overnight. Then add yogurt and fruit in morning.

  3. Some people do, especially trusting elderly people.

I meant go to this road, and check out the many shops and restaurants, like Melange, the wonderful chocolate shop, Lovely House, and the butchers, Flock and Herd, to name three.
  9. Has the landlord used Foxtons before your tenancy? It would have to be the landlord asking you to leave, not Foxtons, unless they have something totally bizarre in their contract with landlord giving them power of attorney. I'd just ignore them and see what happens. I once had them come to see a house I had to rent and they said they would charge 17% to find me a tenant. That was about ten years ago. It was double what any other agent was quoting. I agree with what binary_star has said, so ask your landlord to double check the contract as to what his obligations are. Does anyone know if the Unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts Regulations 1999 or Unfair Contracts Term 1977 Act would cover this?
  10. It's in the business section, all I did was click on your name and there it was!
  11. Bellenden Road, or Bellenden Village as some estate agents like to call it.
  12. del.
  13. As I said on another thread, the car wash currently uses the car park for their washed and unwashed vehicles, so this will cause further problems.
  14. I have seen the car wash people using Iceland's car park to park up the cars they are dealing with. This will also add to the problems when those spaces disappear.
  15. I think you meant to say allude.

  17. I used to live very close to a commercial place where trucks would turn up between 6 and 630 am. The law in that particular borough was no deliveries before 8 am, but still they came early. They would sit there with their engines running and disperse noxious fumes. I was 4 house away and the fumes came in my bedroom window. It was horrible. I feel sorry for any residents affected by this development.

  20. Too bad M&S can't take the space instead of Morrisons and then Iceland could stay.

  23. I don't remember prices falling round here in 2008.

Wonder if they measured it from the side return. There isn't any grass. It's still tiny compared to the amount of rooms in the house.
