me and my son went to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on Sat. Contrary to the reviews, we loved it, every minute of it. Shame West End prices are so blooming extortionate.
This is for you, Sue: http://www.travelzoo.com/uk/local-deals/London/Other/59241?utm_source=localdeal_uk&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=1509851_html_nationwide_deal%3a59241
Yes, one of my son's issues has been (and is) incredibly low self-esteem, which raised its head at about age 4. He was referred to CAMHS by GP for this and other issues, who were wonderful with him, as has his school been (Goose Green).
I don't get this expectation that eateries should welcome babies and children. It's nice when they do, but I would never assume that they did, especially at peak times. I find parks are a good place to meet up with other parents, and cafes attached to parks more than able to handle children and families.
I'd definitely get Vit D levels looked at - recently been diagnosed with a massive deficiency and am now on superdosage pills from the doctor and feeling much, much better. One of my symptoms was aching joints.
Yes, was stuck on Platform 13 for about half an hour on a train while the rest of the station was evacuated. Was a bit scary. http://www.itv.com/news/story/2013-05-24/london-bridge-incident/
I have a lot of boys clothes and shoes I'd like to give them and a fair few toys me wee one has got too old for, not to mention books galore, so if you could send me the contact details that would be much appreciated.
Brixton Ritzy has a kid's club - tomorrow is The Princess Bride - perhaps not the best film for a 3 year old, but great choice for thirtysomething year old...
I agree, but sometimes cleavage is just..erm...there. Interestingly, the sun put a call out today for two men who would pose naked for them for some feature they were writing.
I don't think you can stop over in Hawaii anyway. For practicality and ease, from my own experience of doing the route with child and without, the easiest place is Dubai.
Can you stop over in Hawaii? If so, go there. We went when my son was 1 and it was amazing, but we flew from Vancouver on our very complicated route to NZ (we decided to see a bit of the world en route....).
