    I'm vegetarian because I don't want to eat something dead. Freaks me out and makes me feel sick and v personal to me. Does this mean that I'm not a 'real vegetarian'? Massive assumptions in the OP. but then I have no problems with others eating meat.

    Thanks Penguin68 - I didn't really understand any of that though I'm hoping it's the wiring external to my flat as if it's internal they'll charge me ?30 to fix it. Rant rant rant. But thanks, some light thrown on this is appreciated.

    My BT 'infinity' (ha, not so much) is down completely and my landline dead. They're sending someone to check the exchange on Monday, or at least i think they are as i was on the phone to a call centre to India last night for a long time but ironically it was a terrible line and I could barely understand the woman who was dealing with the problem. I'm near Dulwich Hospital.

    My son wasn't interested in solids till he was about 10 months. I had an amazing hv who told me to relax about it, just give him boob as that's all he wanted and he'd come round to solids in his own time, whih o couse he did. And then i did blw instinctively which worked v well (thank god cos we went travelling for 4 months just after he turned 1).

    TRAID came to me and collected about 4 bin bags - do a search for them on here, that's where I found them

    There are some okay Quorn hotdogs - frozen, boil them for a few minutes. Otherwise my veggie son loves cheese sandwiches, but egg mayo are his fave.

    Had an awful, awful time with the mirena, but think I was a rarity as I've heard nothing else but good stuff about it - it's transformed my best friend's life (for the better).

    I can't believe the scenery of Northumberland has been described as dull. I lived near Hadrian's Wall when I was a teenager for a couple of years and I am still blown away by the scenery up there.

    Yes, I have many workbooks aimed at parents. But we needed to do some work from his textbook as he needed help with what he was actually doing in the classroom.

    Ha ha ha no, not a private. Goose Green. Edited to add, came home with him as i agreed with his teacher we'd do some learning together at home.
