The Estate is a nice place to live in most of the people have bought their properties, and are hard working. I do not live on the estate, but on the Sunray estate, but have seen the change, which is so clear. Whichever area you plan to live in has it's elements whether it be good or bad, but you have to live in it to experience and cope with it. My son was mugged in Dulwich village on a Sunday inbroad daylight on a summer's day while with his friends, this happens unfortunatly whereever you are, as it it is the sign of the times of wanton greed. You will enjoy living there, and the facilities around the area are so abundant you will never want to leave. Thanks Mason

A lot of people are too scared or just do not have time to actually fight a parking or a Road traffic fine received in the post. There are lots of laws that do protect you, as with receiving the ticket on time, the pictures or video taken that can actually cancel a ticket. However on that is more usual than the normal council is that of private firms at the Supermarkets. Well let me tell you if you receive a fine on private ground such as supermarkets, they are not fines, they are invoices, and cannot be enforced by law at all. The companies that are subcontracted by they supermarkets may put a ticket on your car, but have no rights in law to collect the money. They use methods that are really scary, by using debt collector, who again have no rights, and if they overstep their mark can be actually shut down. These parking companies use the ignorance of the people to intimidate until payment is received. The only way any of these tickets can be valid is, if these companies take you to court at a cost with their solicitors, and if you have proof you shopped in the store, you can only be charged ?2.00 if nothing at all. The company knows this, and will intimidate you, but will never take you to court as the costs outweigh what they would receive. Never ever pay these tickets which are in a fact an invoice. They are not LAW.

Hold on here what license is required by the council to operate this sort of business. Nobody has actually touched on that, none. We use the RAC, AA who come to your place to fix a car, they rev the engines and cause noise but we understand this is needed, just as I want a car cleaned where I live, but have not got time to do it myself. Will this be a case when a neighbour wants some garden work done, they have to get a licence to do any work cause they are a little noisy with their mower. There are no laws relating to this like setting up a market sales pitch illegally, so as long work is done within hours that are considered working hours and do not affect sleep, please get off your high horse. This guy is working and not taking your hard earned taxes. Be nice to know what you do.

I am not specifically talking about Southwark but you may find this alarming, but nobody actually realises this. I worked at King's for a few years as the store manager, this was ordering food and essesials for the patients and staff. We had a schedule of placing orders everyday for the food for both the reaturant and the patients every evening. This provided all meals including breakfast. We were contractors and were only allowed to purchase from a list of companies on the approved list of suppliers. These suppliers charged, and I will give you an example, the minipack of cornflakes ?16.00 for a pack of 20 which I never understood, however I found out that the same item from NHS Food Supplies was ?3.50. I brought this up with the contractor and I was sacked within a month, after I started purchaseing these. This is an example, there were many items I did change the company I purchaed from. I did not further the matter as laweyrs in that day were not interested, and even the union did not stand by me. There is a sense that although these companies invest money into the NHS they are given a free run to charge what they like, and it is my gussing they share the profit with their preferred company. We see that staff are not being paid on the value of the work they do, but we allow the Government to waste money like this when they complain about not being to afford the services. This is only a comment but then it goes to show how money is wasted, and due to this people suffer for lack of Government funds.

But then many of the people on benefits living in the stae funded home enjoy Sat TV proberbly have the LED Tvs and enjoy the takeaway, and a regular time at the Pub, but when they run out off the money they receive, they resort to the food bank. I have seen this happen and am really shocked at how much money is actually wasted. I pay my way, it is hard and a struggle and I understand the situations can change, but it is a matter off understanding your situation and living by those means assesable to you, but this will not happen as Christams is coming up and presents will be the priority.

You have to look at it this way, this is not a fine or a Penalty Charge Notice this is an invoice for using the car park at a highly inflated rate. They cannot, as councils do impose baliffs to collect the money, they instruct debt collectors who have no legal recourse, if you take no action they pass the matter back to the issuer of the ticket. If bullying you with letters they can issue with a court summons at their cost ?80.00 I think, and even this is nonsencical to them as they cannot expect a court to believe that ?60.00 or whatever is a relevant charge for parking. This is why after the bullying these cowboys hang up their hats. What is racist? Is it a comment bout a slander about colour, belief and the discrimination of observations of what is different to the norm. It is hard to define how a person can be racist today, because we see that people from other countries are just migrant economic bloodsuckers, and this time of hardship, this undermines our thoughts these people who work for less pay and are willing to do the work and the extra hours. I feel it is more of a threat that people who are willing to work harder to make something of themselves that is a threat that makes racism more prevalent because it is a danger to the lazier attitudes that we have been grown up with and become accustomed too. our thoughts

Well at least they are not allowed to increase rates now. These idiots want to keep on increasing tariffs yet look around and see how many leakages are prevalent. My friend in Herne Hill told me he reported water seeping slowly into his basement shop months before the deluge they suffered. They kept on insisted in was not their fault. Look what happened. Since December I have seen water seeping on South Norwood Hill. It is still on going. How can they justify increasing rates except to pay for their extra costs to rectify the mistakes they overlooked. I am so glad Ofwat made a sensible decision.
