I've done exactly the same, left "stuff" out on the street which, to me, is an open invite to help yourself. However, I'd be pretty unhappy if someone helped themselves to my bins contents while I was sat watching TV in the living room. I'd be interested (and amazed) to hear if anyone on this forum would be happy with that happening! Ron70 -

I misunderstood... Ron70 -

Maybe the simplest way to put this problem / disagreement to bed is for all those happy with someone going through their bins to leave a sign stating this outside their property! Ron70 -
As has ready been pointed out earlier in this thread, there are only some 300 businesses in London who currently pay the LLW. If you have a huge issue with the proposed ED Picturehouse not paying it don't go! However it would be fairly hypocritical to boycott the picture house and then use a business other than one of the aforementioned 300, wouldn't it? Ron

Tedious. How would someone who's lived in East Dulwich for "15 minutes" know what it was like before they moved in? Ron -

It's already happening!

Just been to the cinema exhibition, looks good. If anyone has issues with the proposal then now's the opportunity to voice those concerns in person, not remotely on the EDF at a later date, Ron70

I realise this is the ED Froum, however does anyone have a definitive answer as to whether the Bakerloo extension to Camberwell and Peckham Rye is going to happen?

North Cross Road Market (where's it gone?)
Ron70 replied to Ron70's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I am still wound up by the post from EDmummy! - to clarify, all that happened here was that a simple question was asked; why was the market not there this Sat? It seems likely that it was due to the bad weather - KidKruger stated this in the first response (thanks). However, it's been pretty empty for some time. Again, the reason for this was given as "the time of year" by Twirly (another thankyou). I didn't know the reason behind the scarcity of stalls, that's why I asked! Why you (EDmummy) felt the need to insinuate that I was asking because of some deep seated desire for pasta is beyond ridiculous... Read the original post before posting unfounded and irrational accusations in future you irritating weasel!
