I'd also like to recommend Silvano. My daughter passed first time last week, with only three minor faults. She was totallycomfortable with Silvsno, he gave her confidence from the very beginning. He is patient and calm, and very thorough in the preparation he gives his pupils. He wants them to be safe on the road, not just pass their tests. He is also extremely reliable,rarely changing or cancelling booked lessons. We feel very lucky to have found Silvano and have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone.

They come round almost every summer. The story I get is that they have just lost the lease on their storage facility.

The East Dulwich Writers' Group (EDWG) has followed up its successful first anthology (Hoovering the Roof ) with a second collection called ... (drum roll, please) Hoovering the Roof 2. It's a lively collection of short stories, novel extracts, poetry and creative non-fiction. All the writers are based in South East London, and the book has been produced and illustrated by the group as well. It's available from local bookshops including Cheners, Herne Hill Bookshop, Village Books, Bookseller Crow (Crystal Palace) among others. Way to sell the anthology, Dan...sheesh. A committee is still a committee, even if its members are writers, and nothing decided by committee was ever cutting edge. I think it's amazing we arrived at a consensus at all, even if that consensus was to retain the status quo. The content, on the other hand, is the work of individuals (like yourself) and is highly original (like yourself).

Woof - shh. Don't draw the attention of the Hoover corporate / brand protection lawyers to our copyright infringement. That would suck. Dysoning the Downstairs works for me.
