  2. Hi Pickle - No, no churches or religious affiliations at all! Also no energy, healing etc. (check that Brandon Bays link that Seabag sent - I only read a few sentences, but was very confused... it's nothing like that) The topics as in the first post. Thanks
  3. ???? good question - I think what you're describing sounds like a pyramid scheme where someone pays to join something, then they sign up people who also pay - and there is no money in the system except what people pay to join... (I think the "women wealth building" line I wrote might be the red flag as after SE22cat's comment I did some research, and found a pyramid scheme called "Women Empowering Women", which I'd not heard of before... but I sure have now)- (thanks for the heads up Miga!) I've heard of pyramid schemes, never been in one myself and I think they're illegal now. - and like I said, there is no sale here. This is not a pyramid scheme, you do not pay for the courses I've been talking about and there is real value in them as they are. These are courses to see if you want to try something new. If you are not paying money for it (obviously you do give time), then there is no share. I understand the cynicism. I was a total cynic - and I still am, about lots of stuff. (Now I?ve googled Brandon Bays and found out he is a ?she?, her stuff looks like it?s not my cup of tea) So when I was first offered a course - say on the Elite Speaker intensive - I was like ? ?well, what's the catch? Why would you give me training that I should have to pay for, for free? Is this just gonna be one giant sales pitch with no real information in there at all? Is this going to be of any value to me? My thought process was well "What do I have to lose? - if it's crap - I won't get back the time, but I didn't spend any money. But if it's good - and it helps, then even if there is a sales pitch in there somewhere - I still got what I wanted and perhaps I discover something new, something I want to do, am freaking good at and can help me with my juggling? (life, not balls!) I went on the session - got loads of great stuff, genuine value - and it wasn't just me... didn't do any further training on that - but have implemented loads of the strategies in presentations, pitches in my business and I know more about what I want and don't want. It has cost me nothing. I would have paid to get what I got out of it. Yes - They do get people who find their calling as public speakers, or property investors, or the other stuff on the taster courses and they do go on to do other things - and with FULL DISCLOSURE - I would get a small share if you did that...there is no "recruit other people" element to this, I just put it out there to see if anyone else was interested. That was how I first found out about it - was just doing the same. But I?d humbly suggest that?s not the point. In the interim - this opportunity for the tasters is there... My claims were not 100% altruistic - of course there is something in it for me. But that doesn't mean that there not something (much, much more) in it for you. (Perhaps I should lead with that... to help fellow cynics feel less cynical) This is not a zero sum thing there where one of us wins, and therefore one of us loses. - the questions I would recommend that you ask yourself (or at least the ones I asked myself to decide when I went on my taster courses) is what's in it for you? Is it worth you finding out? Or to put it slightly differently What's the risk if it's rubbish? What's the upside if it's awesome? (for me it's knowing that I'm working my butt off - which I was always doing long before I started in business anyway... but I have a plan to create some control and freedom about my time and choices in my life. That's important to me. That's what I wanted, so that was great for me) That's it. Only you know the answers to those questions - so only you know whether it's worth finding out more about it - if you want specifics in terms of topics covered (to answer the "is it just a sales pitch" and "are they actually going to tell us anything valuable" question) - then PM me your name and email address I'd be happy to send you areas covered in any or all of the topics that I mentioned. The questions are great. Cynics rule the world!! But you know what they say.. "There no point having a mind if you never change it" Finally I will reiterate - THIS IS NOT FOR EVERYONE... the question I asked was IS THIS FOR YOU? PM if you think the answer could be yes... If not - happy days
  4. SE22cat, It wasn't rude at all, it's your opinion, and that's cool - and interesting info for me too - perhaps it's how I've written it... what makes you sceptical? - I'm not selling anything (Or I'd have put it in the For Sale, bit of the forum) I've gotten loads of value from the things I've done and am doing - but like the post says, it's definitely not for everyone. Seabag, I'm not sure who Brandon Bays is (dunno if that says more about me than him) PM me with your details if you wanna know more. If not, cool beans! Thanks
  5. Hi there, I'm a local mum and Business Owner who is always looking for new and innovative ways to balance making a living, and living my family-filled, "way to busy but you only get one so make it great" life... It's not an easy balance to strike, but I have come across some great things that work well for me and my family - that may well be right up your street. You don't have to be a mum, a woman or even a business owner to appreciate the opportunities - you just need an open mind! There are "no get rich quick" schemes going on here, and I'm not gonna say it's no work, super easy or for everyone... but If you are interested in getting MORE time for you and your family - with less hassle and stress, and that's not what you have right now, then these options are for you. It started when I attended a 1 day beginners property training session thinking - "There's no way on the planet that this could ever work for me - property prices are absolutely ridiculous"... but it goes to show that you don't know what you don't know... fast forward to now, and I'm moving towards the life I want... If this has piqued your interest - then please PM me. I have access to some taster courses that might suit you - and if you are interested, you can get complementary tickets to attend (they are paid places that I can give complementary spaces for - they are NOT free for everyone) Topics include - Property Investment - Elite Speaking and Confidence Building - Women Wealth Building - The Amazon Business Opportunity This has been something that has changed my life - and could potentially change yours - there's no obligations anywhere - even if you DM me, there's no hard sells - so if you want to know more, give me a shout. So if you want to try something new, the topics take your fancy, or you just want a way to get out of that rat race and stop running around like a headless chicken to make ends meet - then now is a great time to hit reply. I look forward to hearing from you, I hope I can help Thanks Mrs E
  6. I know that Amott Road PreSchool has spaces for September 2014 if you don't get into Heber. Both my sons have been at the preschool and totally loved it - my eldest is coming out of Reception at GR and has exceed expectations in all of the 17 EY development goals they measured him on. He particularly never went to another early years setting (my youngest has) - but they have both truly thrived there and I joined the parents committee as I was so pleased with their progress and hto get more involved in the pre-school. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions. Thanks
  7. Hi Astrid, Both my boys went to Amott Road PreSchool, and although our start times are 9.15 - 12.15 (so a bit late for the before work drop off), we know of children who are dropped off at a minders and come together. Prices are so reasonable - works out at ?8 per 3 hour session. The team are fab, it was rated good by Ofsted again last ye they are really flexible on days and both my boys have made amazing progress at the preschool. I know they have spaces, so please PM me if you want more information. Thanks
