We went to the park a couple of days ago and the mother was keeping a close eye on them. She seemed to be doing a good job. I'm sure the ducks will know how to deal with the situation, no need to worry.

Thanks, we're looking forward to it. I've heard glowing reviews about Tebay services, makes me very curious... Does anyone suggest the best time of day to leave London on a week day, or is it pretty much the same? -

Thank you both for your suggestions. Yes, it is far, but unfortunately we have to drive. I'm thinking of stopping in York for a night on the way up and will look at the A702. Thanks again. -
