Excessive exhaust noise from motorbikes through Dulwich Village unbelievably noisy anyone experience this approximately 2 am in the morning it’s particularly bad just had one go past at 8:30 this evening and scared the life out of me
-
Warning Double yellow lines in Dulwich Village now parking enforcement offices are issuing tickets also tickets being given if you park across the driveways
-
On Tuesday morning the same lorry turned up but this time turned his engine off. So do I assume that the first one pollutes our lungs and the second one upset our stomachs ?

Thank you for your reply?s I?ve actually watched the driver unload and there are plastic blinds behind the door he pushes these aside takes the boxes out and puts them on a trolley. He could then close the door keeping it cold, my wife spends more time with the freezer door open than he does there?s absolutely no reason to leave the engine running The funny thing is I live 300 yards within the road closures in Dulwich Village and often have to make a 45 minute journey to get home then the 30 seconds it would take me to get home

A lorry delivering to the crown and greyhound pub three times a week leaves its engine running for approximately 30 minutes each time From 6.45-7.15 am normally It?s a refrigerated unit but surely this is not necessary it has to be against the law
-
I spoke to the man who sprayed them white, he told me they were going to install a new stopcocks that was all
-
I apologise sorry
-
Five emails sent to Southwark Council no reply received at least seven emails to the company who own the vehicle three verbal conversations to the staff of the pub Two heated discussions with the drivers of the lorry what else am I supposed to do
-
Thanks very much for your help

Hi Sue. I agree with your statement but the smell of diesel fumes in my bedroom at 7 o?clock in the morning it?s not a nice way to be woken up. Maybe it?s that I am becoming a miserable old sod

Three times a week a lorry delivers to the crown and greyhound pub in Dulwich village, for up to an hour each time the engine is left running while the deliveries are made I?ve contacted the company and told this is a normal practice because it?s refrigerated I?ve contacted Southwark Council and they just don?t bother getting back to me Yet for five hours a day five days a week I can?t drive the 30 seconds to my home and have to drive miles just to get home I have to use my vehicle for work I cannot carry my tools on a pushbike

I cannot drive to my home from the closed junction in Dulwich village that would take me 30 seconds, so I drive for around 45 minutes to get to my home I have to drive I need my tools to carry out my job But three times a week i have to listen to a lorry?s engine running for up to an hour making delivery?s to the crown and greyhound pub I have complained to the company and been told this has to happen because it?s a refrigerated vehicle As I write this the lorries engine has been running for 25 minutes So frustrating
