  1. Hi Just seen your message on the thread, I know Grove Vale library seem to open around 2pm on certain days. Just before the session starts. I've not made it to their baby rhyme group yet, but will do! I know that Dulwich Library definitely have their Baby Rhyme sessions on tomorrow morning. I emailed someone there and they've confirmed it. Me and my little one are planning to pop along tomorrow, it will be our first time too. Hope that helps. All the best

  8. I have a few packets of unopened newborn nappies that I'd like to donate to a local charity. I'm aware of the Salvation Army in Camberwell takes baby clothes and equipment, was just wondering if there's anywhere else local. Thanks.

Hi I've seen quite a few local mother and baby groups advertised, I'm thinking to pop along with my little one ( 4 weeks old) however I feel word of mouth recommendations is always a good start. I'm a bit nervous, first time mum and all. Looking for small, friendly groups. Can anyone recommend a group they regularly attend? Thanks

  19. Hi Was just wondering whether there was a knitting group in the area? I think last year there were a couple ( Denmark Hill and in one of the pubs on LL). Are they still up & running? Can anyone recommend a group? I'm a bit of a beginner but looking to get back into knitting and meet some local knitters. Thanks
  20. I too would like to recommend Fernando, he came round today and did cutting/tidying/weeding and removing of hedge and general tidy up. He is a very polite friendly guy. Very punctual & hardworking ( in the hot sun ). Will be using his services again in a few weeks time for gardening jobs. Thank you Fernando! Best, Shazza

  23. Well I'm fed up with cats coming and leaving their mess behind all the time and the smell! Yes they do dig up flowers and plants too :'(
