The M&S would be an improvement if they stick to their scheduled opening hours. On more than one occasion, I've gone along to the Co-Op at 9:30pm on the promise that they'd be open until 11pm, only to find that they'd already shut for that day (tends to be Tuesday and Saturdays).

4am is unreasonable. On a Sunday-Thursday night, 10pm would be a reasonable cut-off for noise. On a Friday or Saturday night, 11pm would be OK. If they've given advance notice then I'd give them an extra hour, but anything beyond midnight is anti-social. Only had one that was really bad, a couple of years ago, when I called the council at 2am, and they eventually put a stop to the party at 4am. On that occasion, they really didn't care as it was a "going away" party for someone who was leaving the area.

When I go to buy my train tickets, the machine is full of receipts that people haven't been bothered to pick up. This just seems to be an East Dulwich thing, I've not seen it happen anywhere else. How much effort it is to pick up your own rather than leave me to pick up 20+ or so of yours?

The usual spot is, ironically enough, around the back of the old police station. I often wander round there on my way back from work around 8-9pm and observe the occasional car parked up, engine running with two guys just sat there, giving furtive looks to any passers-by.
